China Construction Bank’s Hong Kong-listed shares were trading below, but relatively close to, their reported 52-week high in market-data snapshots dated October 7, 2026. Providers put the share price at about HK$9.59–HK$9.615 and the 52-week range at HK$7.18–HK$9.90. These are dated snapshots, not a definitive live quote, and the range alone does not indicate whether the stock is attractively valued or likely to rise or fall.

China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB) is headquartered in Beijing and has two separately listed share lines. The price range above is for the Hong Kong listing, quoted in Hong Kong dollars; market-data services commonly identify it as 0939, while the exchange code is 939. CCB’s Shanghai-listed shares trade under code 601939. Do not treat their prices as interchangeable. CCB’s investor-relations profile gives the listing history: Hong Kong in October 2005 and Shanghai in September 2007.
#1 Best Overall
CCB describes its businesses as corporate finance, personal finance, treasury, and asset management. The company reports that it had 785 million personal customers and 12.73 million corporate customers at the end of 2025; those are company-stated scale figures, not independent measures of investment value. CCB’s profile is the source.
How to interpret the price observation
A 52-week range offers historical context, not a complete investment assessment. Before comparing a quote or deciding what the range means, check:
Rank #2
- Exchange and share line: Hong Kong 939/0939 or Shanghai 601939.
- Currency: the Hong Kong quote is in HKD; do not compare it directly with a Shanghai price without accounting for currency and other differences.
- Timestamp and quote status: confirm the date and whether the provider labels the data delayed.
- Price basis: check whether a historical series is adjusted, as well as the provider’s stated range.
The October 7 snapshots do not provide a current cross-market comparison or a valuation case. A share near the top of its recent range may still require analysis of the company’s disclosures and the investor’s own circumstances.
Where to check CCB’s latest financial disclosures
CCB’s announcements page lists its 2026 Half-Year Report as published on September 28, 2026. The report itself is the appropriate primary source for interim earnings, margins, asset quality, capital, or dividends; the publication listing alone does not establish those figures. CCB’s announcements page and its investor-relations resources provide access to reports, financial highlights, results announcements, and presentations.
