The Chelsio T320 is identified as a dual-port 10GbE adapter, but the available documentation does not confirm that the specific card in a “Dual SFP+ & 2 Transceivers” listing has SFP+ cages or that its included optics will work with your equipment. Before buying at the advertised $32, verify the exact board, transceiver part numbers, host fit and operating-system support.
What the T320 documentation establishes
Broadcom’s hardware compatibility guide names a “T320 10GbE Dual Port Adapter” and gives its vendor/device identifier as 1425:0031. That identifies a dual-port 10GbE adapter; it does not specify the connector configuration or certify current operating-system support. Broadcom’s compatibility guide.
Chelsio’s legacy adapter page covers the T3 family, including models with differing port configurations. For example, it describes the S320E-CR as twinax-cable-ready and the B320E as having two SFP+ SR optics. Those are related models, not proof that a card labeled T320 has the same connectors or accessories. Chelsio’s legacy adapter list.

The cited product documentation does not verify the seller’s specific card, included transceivers, condition, or price. Ask the seller for clear photographs of the card and labels, plus the following details before relying on the listing title:
#1 Best Overall
- Country Of Origin: Malaysia
- Package Width: 17.78 Centimeters
- Package Height: 25.4 Centimeters
- Package Length: 7.62 Centimeters
- Exact board model and revision: Check the label and any identifying markings against the seller’s description. Do not assume a related S320E or B320E specification applies to a T320.
- Connector type: Confirm that the card has the SFP+ cages claimed in the listing, rather than inferring this from “dual-port 10GbE.”
- Both transceiver part numbers: Ask for readable labels or exact model numbers. Confirm the optical type, reach and compatibility with the card and switch. If the listing includes cables rather than optics, confirm cable type and length.
- Host fit: Confirm that your system has a compatible PCI Express slot and that the card’s bracket fits the case.
- Condition and completeness: Ask whether both ports and optics are present and whether the card has been tested. The available documentation does not establish the item’s condition or what the seller includes.
Check the whole link, not just the card
A working 10GbE connection depends on the card, transceiver or cable, switch port and host configuration matching. Chelsio’s troubleshooting guidance asks users to provide the adapter model, operating system and version, driver version, optical module or cable speed/type/brand, and switch details—use the same checklist to assess a proposed setup. Chelsio support.
- For fiber, match the transceiver type and reach at both ends, and make sure the switch accepts the module.
- For a direct-attach connection, confirm that the card and switch support the cable type and speed.
- Confirm that the switch port is configured for the intended speed and that your planned cabling reaches between the devices.
Operating-system and driver support is model-specific
Chelsio’s general information lists Linux, Windows, ESX, Mac OS, FreeBSD and Solaris among supported operating-system families, but that broad list does not certify every legacy adapter for every release. Chelsio’s legacy adapter information.

Chelsio’s historical Terminator 3 driver page lists specified S310E, S320E, R310E and N320E adapters; it does not establish that a T320 works with a particular current OS release. Check the exact card identifier and intended OS/version against current driver information before buying for a production system. Chelsio’s driver page.

The documented facts support identifying the T320 as a dual-port 10GbE adapter, but they do not validate $32 as a market price or confirm that the listing’s two transceivers are present and compatible. Treat the price as the seller’s advertised amount, not a verified valuation. The deal makes sense only if the seller can establish the exact board and included parts, and you can confirm fit, driver support and compatibility with your switch and cabling.
