The CHI643BA uses induction, so cookware must be induction-compatible. The manual also specifies different minimum pan diameters for its zones. A pan that is induction-compatible may still be too small for a particular zone.

Chef marks the model as discontinued, and CHOICE also lists its availability as discontinued. Neither source establishes current retailer inventory, second-hand availability or a current transaction price. Any historical price shown by a review listing should not be treated as today’s price. Check the seller, the unit’s condition and the exact model before committing to a used purchase.
If you need a replacement cooktop, Chef’s support catalogue lists other models, but the available specifications do not establish that any of them is a direct replacement or drop-in fit. Compare the cut-out, electrical requirements and load, zone layout, minimum pan sizes, controls, safety features, warranty and verified availability for the specific alternative.
