The bonus was promotional, not a permanent plan feature; the reported deadline is past.
What the Chatr 8GB promotion offered
According to MobileSyrup’s February 4, 2026 report, eligible new activations on monthly plans priced at $35 or more received an additional 8GB of data for two years. MobileSyrup said customers had until February 16, 2026, to sign up. The promotion-specific terms here are attributed to that dated report; a surviving official Chatr terms page for the offer is not established.
The two-year duration applied to the promotional 8GB, not necessarily to the plan’s base data or its separate Auto-pay bonus.
Historical plan examples from the offer
MobileSyrup’s examples combined each plan’s base data, its Auto-pay bonus and the promotional 8GB. These are figures reported for the 2026 promotion, not current Chatr plan quotes.

Both examples are from MobileSyrup’s report. They do not establish what Chatr currently offers at those prices.
How this differs from Chatr’s current Auto-pay bonus
Chatr’s current Auto-pay information describes a separate, plan-dependent bonus. The Auto-pay FAQ says the current bonus offer lasts one month while a customer remains enrolled. Chatr says an eligible bonus is added within 48 hours after a successful payment; it may change the offer without notice, and the bonus does not apply when an Auto-pay payment fails or the customer is no longer enrolled. A bonus associated with a plan may also stop applying after a plan change.

According to Chatr’s My Chatr support page, eligible existing customers who enroll receive the bonus on their next anniversary date. Unused bonus data resets monthly and does not carry over. These general Auto-pay rules should not be read as the missing terms for the expired 8GB promotion.
Where to check Chatr’s plans now
Chatr’s current plans page displays a different lineup from the historical examples. When accessed for this article, it showed, among other offers, $21 per month with 1GB plus a 0.5GB Auto-pay bonus; $25 per month with 5GB plus a 1GB bonus; and $30 per month with 15GB plus a 5GB bonus. A featured $35 offer showed 30GB including a 5GB Auto-pay bonus. These listings can change, so check the page and your account for the allowance and bonus terms that apply before enrolling or changing plans.

Can you still get the 8GB promotion?
The public offer reported by MobileSyrup ended February 16, 2026, so it should not be treated as available for a new activation. The public sources do not establish whether Chatr extended the deal for any particular customer or account. If you believe an account has a targeted offer, confirm its terms directly in your Chatr account or with Chatr before relying on it.
