Chatr Mobile’s $25-per-month 80GB offer is no longer available: it ended March 30, 2026. The 80GB included a 10GB Auto-Pay bonus on top of 70GB, so it was not a guaranteed 80GB allowance independent of Auto-Pay. Chatr’s later plan listing showed different options, not this deal.
What the $25/80GB Chatr offer included
MobileSyrup reported the promotion on March 30, 2026, its final day. The plan was advertised at $25 per month for 70GB, with an additional 10GB Auto-Pay bonus, for 80GB total. It included unlimited Canada-wide calling and unlimited texting to Canada, the U.S. and internationally, according to MobileSyrup’s report.
The report also mentioned a separate third-month-free promotion for new activations on monthly plans of $25 or more, running until March 31. That was a distinct promotion; it did not extend the $25/80GB plan’s stated March 30 expiry.
Is the deal still available?
No. “Today” in the original March 30 headline referred to March 30, 2026, not the date you are reading this. Chatr’s plans page, as retrieved October 4, 2026, listed $25 per month for 5GB rather than 80GB. It also listed $21 for 1GB, $30 for 15GB, $35 for 30GB with Auto-Pay, and a $159 annual option with 40GB. The monthly prices were shown for new activations. These are a dated snapshot, not a promise of current pricing: check Chatr’s live plans page for availability, eligibility and terms before switching.

How the listed plans compare
| Plan listed by Chatr | Payment and data | Conditions and included use |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly plan | $21/month for 1GB | Monthly price shown for new activations; confirm current plan terms on Chatr’s plans page. |
| Monthly plan | $25/month for 5GB | Monthly price shown for new activations; unlike the expired offer, this listing did not show 80GB. |
| Monthly plan | $30/month for 15GB | Monthly price shown for new activations; confirm current plan terms on Chatr’s plans page. |
| Monthly plan | $35/month for 30GB | Auto-Pay applies; monthly price shown for new activations. |
| Annual plan | $159/year for 40GB | Chatr lists unlimited Canada-wide calling and unlimited texting to Canada, the U.S. and internationally. After the 40GB annual allowance is used, data can continue at a slower speed until the anniversary date, or you can use a data add-on. |
Chatr says Auto-Pay bonuses may be conditional, and unused monthly data does not roll over. The expired promotion’s 10GB bonus should not be treated as a permanent feature of a $25 plan. See Chatr’s plan details for terms that apply now. Annual-plan specifics are on Chatr’s annual-plan page.
Check compatibility before switching
For a bring-your-own-device activation, Chatr’s guidance says the phone must be unlocked and support the network frequencies it lists: 700, 850, 1900, 1700/2100 (AWS) and 2600 MHz. Frequency support alone is not a guarantee that every model will work, so check the exact model with Chatr’s current compatibility information. Chatr documents buying a SIM, choosing a plan, activating and managing the account on its BYOD page.

Keep your number without interrupting service
Chatr says you can transfer an active Canadian number. Leave your existing service active until the transfer is complete; cancelling it first can prevent the number transfer and disrupt service. Its BYOD instructions describe physical SIM setup. For the annual plan, Chatr says instant activation is available with either eSIM or a physical Chatr SIM. Check Chatr’s live pages for current eSIM availability and whether your specific phone is supported.
