Casio’s Japan lineup adds five BABY-G BGA-3000 variants, scheduled for October 2026. They share Tough Solar charging and Multiband 6 radio time correction, but differ in band material, color and finish—and the composite-band models weigh more and cost more in Japan. Multiband 6 is radio-controlled timekeeping, not smartphone or Bluetooth syncing.
What’s new in the BGA-3000 series?
Casio’s Japan catalog lists five models: BGA-3000-2AJF, BGA-3000-5AJF and BGA-3000-7AJF, plus BGA-3000C-2AJF and BGA-3000CG-5AJF. The three models without a letter suffix use urethane bands; the C and CG models use composite bands that combine metal and resin. The CG version has an additional finish. Across the range, Casio specifies a stainless-steel bezel, a slim 11.2 mm case, Tough Solar power and Multiband 6 time correction. The colored dials have fine circular grooves. These are manufacturer design descriptions, not independent comfort or wear-test findings.
How do the five models compare?
The table separates confirmed model details from prices and weights that are not stated on the cited official product pages for every variant. Japan-market prices are suggested retail prices where available; check local retailers for current prices and stock.

Casio’s Japan product pages provide specifications for the BGA-3000-2AJF, BGA-3000C-2AJF and BGA-3000CG-5AJF. The ¥39,050 price for the C model is reported by Gizmochina’s October 5, 2026 launch coverage; it is not given here as a Casio-verified suggested retail price.
What do Tough Solar and Multiband 6 do?
Tough Solar charges from light
Tough Solar is Casio’s light-powered charging system. For the BGA-3000-2AJF, Casio estimates about eight months of operation after a full charge with no further solar generation when using functions, or about 20 months in power-saving mode. These are manufacturer estimates, not a guarantee of battery life in every use pattern.
Multiband 6 corrects time by radio
Multiband 6 receives standard time-calibration radio signals from six stations worldwide and can automatically correct the watch’s time. Reception depends on being within a supported region and on local reception conditions. It is not phone synchronization, Bluetooth connectivity or evidence that the watch syncs with a mobile app.

Casio lists shock resistance and 10-bar water resistance, as well as these functions:
- World time for 48 cities
- 1/100-second stopwatch
- Countdown timer
- Alarms
- LED illumination
What are the dimensions and price of the BGA-3000-2AJF?
For the urethane-band BGA-3000-2AJF, Casio lists dimensions of 40.8 × 36.1 × 11.2 mm, a weight of 32 g and a Japan-market suggested retail price of ¥33,000 including tax. The case and bezel use resin and stainless steel. Casio lists October 2026 as the release month for this Japan-market model.

Casio’s cited listings are for Japan. Gizmochina reported on October 5, 2026 that Japanese pre-orders were open through Casio Japan’s online store. That report does not establish current stock, delivery dates or launch timing in other countries.
