Casio is reported to be adding two green-dial, gold-tone Vintage analog-digital watches in Japan: the AQ-230GA-3AMQY and AQ-240EG-3A. A report published October 7, 2026, lists Japanese prices of ¥8,800 and ¥9,900, respectively, and says both are scheduled to ship later in October. Casio’s reviewed official pages provide context on the AQ-230 and AQ-240 families, but do not confirm these exact launch references.
Which models are reported, and what do they look like?
The reported models are the compact, angular AQ-230GA-3AMQY and the larger, softer-edged AQ-240EG-3A. Both combine a dark green sunray dial with gold-tone styling, analog hands, and a small rectangular LCD. Gizmochina’s October 7, 2026 report gives Japanese-market full references as AQ-230GA-3AMQYJF and AQ-240EG-3AJF. These launch details come from secondary reporting rather than an official announcement for the exact references.
Casio’s official European collection material describes the AQ-230 as a design dating to 1995 and places an AQ-240 in its 2025 collection. Casio Japan also describes a separate AQ-230EGG-3A with a dark green sunray dial and gold-colored hands and markers. That related variant is not the reported AQ-230GA-3AMQY. Casio Europe’s collection page and Casio Japan’s AQ-230EGG-3A page provide family and related-model context, not confirmation of the new colorways.
