Carrd is a good fit when you need a responsive, focused one-page site and want to keep costs low. Its free tier supports up to three sites, and Pro Standard is listed at $19 per year for 10 sites. Switch only when you can point to a specific gap—such as multiple pages, a CMS, more design control, or broader business features. The right alternative depends on that gap, not on a universal ranking.
What Carrd does—and where its limits matter
Carrd describes itself as a builder for responsive one-page sites. Product Hunt categorizes it as a website and landing-page builder and lists its launch date as March 1, 2016; that profile is useful for product-discovery context, not as an independent performance evaluation. See Carrd and Carrd on Product Hunt.
For a single-page portfolio, landing page, or compact site, Carrd’s focused format can be an advantage rather than a shortcoming. Its free tier allows up to three sites. Pro Standard is listed at $19 per year for 10 sites and includes custom-domain URLs, forms, widgets, embeds, analytics, and other publishing features. Carrd has other Pro tiers with different site counts and capabilities, so confirm the features of the specific tier you choose on the official Pro plans page. A custom-domain feature does not mean domain registration is included: you publish to a domain you own.

Consider another builder when the work itself no longer fits one page—for example, when you need a multi-page business site, ongoing CMS publishing, online selling, newsletter workflows, or more design control. Those needs point to different candidates, so “Alternatives to Carrd?” is best answered by naming the capability you need.

Which Carrd alternative fits your use case?
| Need | Candidate and cited plan information | Check before choosing |
|---|---|---|
| Multi-page business site | Wix presents paid website plans. Its Light tier page displayed $17.77 per month including GST in the accessed locale. | Confirm your region, tax treatment, billing period, and whether the exact features you need are in the plan. |
| Multi-page site with templates and broad site-building features | Squarespace lists Basic at $19 per month with annual billing or $25 per month with monthly billing. | Check current regional plan names, commerce limits, billing period, and taxes. |
| Design-led personal or creative site | Framer lists a free tier and Basic at $10 per month on yearly billing; the cited Basic plan includes custom-domain support and two CMS collections. | Compare page, CMS, bandwidth, localization, and collaboration requirements with the plan’s limits. |
| More design control or a CMS workflow | Webflow lists Basic at $15 per month billed yearly for sites that do not need CMS, and Premium at $25 per month billed yearly with Webflow CMS. | Check CMS limits, plan scope, team needs, and whether the workflow’s learning curve is justified. |
These are use-case matches, not a claim that one builder is better for every site. Framer and Webflow may suit design-led work or CMS needs; Wix and Squarespace may suit broader multi-page sites. The details of the site you plan to publish should determine which one you investigate.
Compare the whole plan, not just the headline price
The figures below are snapshots from the vendors’ pricing pages accessed October 7, 2026, not guaranteed future prices. Billing terms and included features differ, so they are not directly interchangeable.
Rank #2
| Builder and plan | Listed price and billing term | Price qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Carrd Pro Standard | $19 per year | For 10 sites; see the official Pro page for tier-specific features. |
| Framer Basic | $10 per month on yearly billing | See the Framer pricing page for current plan limits. |
| Webflow Basic | $15 per month billed yearly | For sites that do not need CMS; applicable taxes are added at checkout. See Webflow pricing. |
| Webflow Premium | $25 per month billed yearly | Includes Webflow CMS; applicable taxes are added at checkout. See Webflow pricing. |
| Wix Light | $17.77 per month | The displayed figure included GST and was locale-specific. Verify your own region and billing terms on Wix’s plans page. |
| Squarespace Basic | $19 per month with annual billing; $25 per month with monthly billing | Verify current regional pricing and taxes on Squarespace’s pricing page. |
Before committing, verify the price for your location and chosen billing term, then check domain renewal costs, page and CMS limits, and whether the plan includes the forms, commerce, or other features your site needs. A monthly figure on a yearly plan is not the same commitment as paying month to month.

- Describe the missing capability. Identify what your current one-page site cannot do: organize multiple pages, publish regularly, support a CMS, provide greater design control, or handle a business workflow.
- Match that need to a candidate. Use the comparison above to identify one or two builders worth investigating rather than choosing from a generic winner list.
- Check the relevant plan limits. Confirm the pages, CMS collections, forms, commerce tools, integrations, and collaboration features you actually require.
- Compare the cost on the same basis. Check annual versus monthly billing, regional taxes, domain costs, and plan entitlements on each vendor’s current official page.
- Account for the move itself. Include the time and complexity of moving existing content in your decision. Platform-specific migration paths are not established here, so confirm how your content can be transferred before switching.
If your site still works as one responsive page and you do not need a missing feature, staying on Carrd remains a reasonable choice. Product Hunt’s listing helps identify the product, but it does not establish that another platform will perform better for your particular site.
