Cardsmiths will bring three Fall 2026 convention-exclusive trading card lines—Currency, Street Fighter, and Betty Boop—to New York Comic Con (NYCC) 2026. The event runs October 8–11 at the Javits Center in New York City, and Cardsmiths says the releases will be available at Booth #3462.
What Cardsmiths is bringing to NYCC 2026
The announced lineup includes three event-only collections. Their disclosed details differ: Currency has three designs and cryptocurrency redemption cards; Street Fighter has the largest stated design count and several serial-limited variations; Betty Boop has five New York-themed designs with gemstone parallels and signature cards.

Cardsmiths describes all three releases as convention exclusives. The announcement does not provide prices, pack configurations, pull odds, card dimensions, or a complete checklist, so those details cannot be compared yet.
What the Bitcoin chase-card wording means
The Currency announcement says Cryptocurrency Redemption Cards are redeemable for “major hits up to 0.1 Bitcoin.” That describes a possible upper amount, not a promise that a card will pay 0.1 Bitcoin—or that every redemption will produce any particular amount. Treat it as a redemption feature, not a guaranteed prize, investment, or return.

Why Cardsmiths chose New York designs
NYCC 2026 marks the convention’s 20th anniversary, according to Cardsmiths. Co-founder and CEO Steve Loney said the company wanted to celebrate that milestone with a release that felt distinctive to Cardsmiths, and that some designs pay tribute to New York. The Betty Boop line is specifically described as New York-themed.
