If you can’t sign in to the EA SPORTS FC 26 Companion App, first make sure you’re using the EA Account linked to your FC 26 profile. If the account is correct, recover the email or password, then check whether you’ve entered Ultimate Team in the full FC 26 game on PC or console. A Transfer Market lock is a separate issue: you may be able to sign in to the app even when you can’t use its market.
1. Check that you’re using the right EA Account
The Companion App uses the EA Account associated with your FC 26 game profile. If you have more than one EA Account, signing in with the wrong one can prevent you from reaching the expected club or account.
EA says you can check your account details online. On supported PlayStation and Xbox games, you may also find the linked account under the EA Account or Connected Accounts area of the game’s settings. See EA’s guide to finding your EA Account email address.
2. Recover your email or password
If you know the account but can’t remember its password, use EA’s password-reset flow. EA says you can start with the account email address or EA ID. You may also be able to sign in through a linked platform account, such as PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Steam, Apple, Facebook, or Google.

- This video game is the world's leading football game; The Standard Edition contains the EA SPORTS FC 26 full game
- The Club is Yours in EA SPORTS FC 26.
- Experience Manager Career like never before with all-new Manager Live Challenges.
- Put your dream squad to the test in Football Ultimate Team with Tournaments and Live Events, as well as a refreshed Rivals and Champs experience.
If you don’t know which email is attached, use EA’s account lookup steps. If you can’t access that email, try recovering it through your email provider. When neither email nor a linked platform account gets you in, contact EA support for account recovery. Have linked platform usernames and purchase invoice information ready if available; they may help establish account ownership.
EA’s recovery guidance also recommends resetting your password if your credentials have expired. If a reset doesn’t resolve the issue, EA advises waiting 90 minutes before trying again.

3. Meet FC 26’s in-game access requirement
EA’s FC 26 app guide says that, after November 14, 2025 at 11:59:50 PM UTC, players needed to log in to Ultimate Team in the full FC 26 game on PC or console at least once to continue using both the Web App and Companion App. If you haven’t done this with the EA Account you’re using in the app, enter Ultimate Team in the full game, then try the app again.

4. Separate app sign-in from Transfer Market access
If the app accepts your login but you can’t access the Transfer Market, your sign-in is working. Market access has separate eligibility requirements and account restrictions, so a market error alone does not show that your app login is broken.
Read the exact message in the app and check the email linked to your EA Account for notices. EA explains that some players must earn Web and Companion App market access, while other accounts may be blocked. In some cases, a blocked account can still use the market in the full game. See EA’s Transfer Market access guide.

In a 2026 EA Forums discussion titled “FC 26 Companion App Login Unavailable – Since Launch,” a Community Manager suggested successfully entering Ultimate Team in the full PC game, quitting Ultimate Team, and waiting a few minutes before trying the app. The response addressed that player’s reported “We’re currently having trouble with login services” message; it is a case-specific suggestion, not a guaranteed fix for every login problem. The discussion is available on the EA Forums.
