If Candy Crush Saga opens at a lower level or starts a new game, first reconnect the account that held your save. Sign in with the same King account or Facebook profile, or—when switching supported phones—check whether the same iCloud or Android account can restore the cloud save. If none of those routes works, contact King Player Support with your Game ID and last known level.
Find out where your old save was stored
Your recovery route depends on how the game was saved before you lost access. Check which account is currently connected in Candy Crush Saga’s settings, then use the matching route below.

Reconnect the account that held your progress
- Open Candy Crush Saga and inspect the connected account or profile in the game settings.
- If you used a King account, sign in with the saved email and password. If you used Facebook, connect the same Facebook profile that held the old save.
- If the game is connected to the wrong profile, sign out of it in the game, then sign in with the correct account. King Community advises logging out and back in when the game shows the wrong level. King Community: Lost game progress
- Check whether the previous level appears. If not, continue to the device-transfer or support steps below.
Restore progress after changing phones or tablets
King Community says a cloud backup may restore automatically on a new phone or tablet when you use the same operating-system account on both devices. Its stated eligibility is Candy Crush Saga version 1.281 or higher and activity in the game after December 18, 2024. The guidance says the option is unavailable for the Windows app and Amazon devices. These requirements are version-sensitive; check current in-game guidance if the cloud route does not appear. If your old save was linked to a King account or Facebook instead, install Candy Crush Saga on the new device and sign in with that same account.

Know which game items transfer
King Community says level progress and Gold Bars transfer with an account or eligible cloud save. Boosters, extra lives, and extra moves are stored locally and do not transfer to another device. King Community: My Progress

- Open the game’s Help Center or use King Player Support’s contact route.
- Choose the progress or lost-progress topic if available.
- Include your Game ID and the last level you remember reaching.
King Community guidance says Player Support can investigate and may manually restore levels even if the game was not linked to an account. Protect your progress before the next device change
- After regaining access, link the game to a King account or Facebook profile and keep the sign-in details available.
- Before moving devices or removing the app, check whether boosters, extra lives, and extra moves are stored locally on the original device.
- For a future transfer, follow King’s current instructions for your platform and account type.
