Historically, yes—but not by simply wagering cash. The former Kickr Casino reportedly used promotional “Bucks” for prize-eligible play and redemptions, while “Bits” were for entertainment. Kickr Casino is reported to have permanently closed on March 31, 2026, so it is not a current way to win or cash out. This is the former casino associated with kickr.com, not the separate service at kickr.fun.
What did “real money” mean at Kickr Casino?
Kickr Casino was described as a sweepstakes casino, not a conventional casino where players deposit cash and directly wager it. A specialist review reported two currencies: Bits for entertainment play and Bucks for prize eligibility. Bits could be purchased for entertainment-only use; Bucks could reportedly be obtained through promotions without a purchase. The distinction matters: a chance to redeem qualifying promotional currency for prizes is not the same thing as placing a cash wager.
The Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) described Kickr as offering slots, table games, and sports wagering with opportunities to win cash, gift cards, and other prizes. That is the regulator’s description of the service’s offerings, not evidence that users directly staked cash on each game.
How Bucks redemptions reportedly worked
According to the specialist review, eligible Bucks had to meet a one-times playthrough condition before redemption. The review reported historical minimums of 50 Bucks for gift cards and 200 Bucks for cash, with cash paid by bank transfer. These are reported historical terms, not a promise that a particular balance qualified or that a payment was made.

Is Kickr Casino still open, and can you cash out now?
Kickr Casino is reported to have permanently closed on March 31, 2026. A specialist review says registrations and coin purchases ended March 1, 2026, and that March 31 was also the deadline to request eligible remaining redemptions. Those dates and the final redemption terms come from that review; Kickr’s official closure notice was not available to independently confirm them.
Because the reported deadline has passed, do not treat the old redemption process as open or assume a late request will be accepted. If you had an account or pending balance, rely on any direct communication you received from the operator rather than paying anyone who claims they can reopen a redemption.

What did the Illinois Gaming Board say?
In a cease-and-desist letter dated February 4, 2026, the IGB said it had observed Kickr offering Illinois users online slots, table games, and sports wagering, along with chances to win cash, gift cards, and other prizes. The Board stated: “The IGB has neither licensed nor authorized Kickr to engage in online gambling activity.” It demanded that Kickr block Illinois residents or stop offering cash, gift cards, and other prizes.

This is the IGB’s enforcement position about Kickr’s activity in Illinois, not a court judgment or a ruling on every state. The letter does not establish whether Kickr was lawful or available elsewhere. The specialist review says state availability changed over time, so an old state list should not be treated as current guidance.

Is kickr.fun the same service?
No. The former sweepstakes casino was associated with Kickr Games Pty Ltd and kickr.com. The separate service at kickr.fun identifies C3 Labs Ltd as its operator and describes football discovery and prediction-market interfaces, including connections to independent infrastructure. Its terms are not the casino’s terms, and its existence does not mean Kickr Casino reopened or inherited the old account and prize system.
