You can verify game files in Steam through Library > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files, but the official PC edition of End of Abyss is listed for the Epic Games Store, not Steam. The Steam check therefore applies to Steam games generally; it is not the documented repair method for the official End of Abyss PC installation.
Is End of Abyss available on Steam?
The developer lists End of Abyss for PC via the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Epic’s official listing identifies Windows as the PC platform. The official pages reviewed do not list a Steam edition; that does not rule out a future change in availability.
If you own the official PC edition, its installation is associated with Epic, not Steam. The available official information does not establish Epic launcher repair steps, so do not use the Steam workflow below as if it checked an Epic installation. See the developer’s platform information and the Epic Games Store listing for current availability.

- Restart your computer and open Steam.
- Open Library, then right-click the game. You can also use the gear icon on the game’s Library page.
- Select Properties.
- Choose Installed Files.
- Click Verify integrity of game files and wait for Steam to finish. Steam says the process may take several minutes.
These are general Steam instructions from Steam Support; they are useful for a game installed through Steam, not proof that End of Abyss has a Steam installation to check.

What verification results mean
Steam notes that one or more files may fail verification without indicating a problem: local configuration files may be intentionally left unchanged. Avoid running verification while other intensive work is underway, such as a virus scan or disk defragmentation, and do not verify multiple games at once.
For other Steam-game launch problems, file verification is only one diagnostic step. Steam also recommends checking operating-system updates, drivers, interfering software, and whether the computer meets the game’s requirements. A successful file check does not guarantee it will resolve a crash or launch failure. See Steam’s launch troubleshooting guidance.

End of Abyss PC requirements and installation size
Epic’s listing specifies Windows 10 and 8 GB of memory as minimum requirements, and Windows 11 and 16 GB of memory as recommended. Both tiers list DirectX 12, along with CPU and GPU requirements on the store page. Epic lists a 5.29 GB SSD installation size; this figure is from the listing accessed October 4, 2026. These specifications may help with compatibility or storage troubleshooting, but they do not change which launcher manages the game.
