No. There is no official way documented in the cited support information to transfer or use a Breath of the Wild save from Nintendo Switch on PS5. Nintendo’s save-transfer features work within the Nintendo console family; PlayStation’s documented PS5 transfer covers PS4 and PS5 consoles, not Nintendo Switch.
Why a Switch save won’t transfer to PS5
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is listed by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch, alongside information about Nintendo Switch 2 compatibility; Nintendo also lists a separate Switch 2 Edition. Nintendo says save data can be transferred between users linked to the same Nintendo Account, but that is a requirement for its Nintendo-to-Nintendo transfer process—not a way to connect a Nintendo Account save to PlayStation. PlayStation’s PS5 transfer guidance describes copying data from a PS4 or another PS5 to a PS5; it does not document importing a Nintendo Switch save. No supported Switch-to-PS5 conversion route is established by these platform instructions.
Options for continuing on a Nintendo Switch-family console
Transfer a save directly between nearby consoles
If you are moving to another Nintendo Switch-family console, Nintendo’s local transfer flow is the relevant option. Follow the on-screen steps on both systems:

- On each console, open System Settings → Data Management → Transfer Your Save Data.
- Choose the sending or receiving console as appropriate, then follow the prompts to select the user and game save.
- Make sure both consoles have internet access and that the users involved are linked to the same Nintendo Account.
Nintendo’s instructions state that the save is moved: it is removed from the sending console after the transfer. The receiving console’s existing save data for the same software may be overwritten, and Nintendo warns that overwritten data cannot be recovered. See Nintendo’s save-data transfer instructions.
Restore a cloud-backed save
A Nintendo Switch Online member can redownload eligible save data that was backed up using Nintendo’s Save Data Cloud feature on another console, subject to an active membership. This is a Nintendo console-family option, not a cross-platform bridge to PS5. Details are in Nintendo’s Save Data Cloud support information.

What about the Switch 2 Edition save?
Nintendo says the second save file created in the Breath of the Wild Switch 2 Edition cannot be transferred to the original Nintendo Switch version for play. This limitation concerns that specific second save file and that direction; it does not describe a Switch-to-PS5 transfer. Nintendo Switch 2 Edition details
What won’t solve the platform mismatch
A Nintendo Account or PlayStation Network account, cloud backup, SD card, USB drive, or buying another edition does not provide a documented method to make a Switch save usable on PS5. The official instructions cited here describe transfers within each console family, not conversion between their save formats.
