No. You cannot take the DJI Power 2000 on a passenger plane in carry-on or checked baggage under FAA passenger guidance. DJI rates it at 2,048 watt-hours (Wh), far above the FAA’s 160 Wh limit for lithium battery-powered power stations. Check your operating airline and the rules for your route for any additional requirements, but checking the unit does not make it eligible.
Why the DJI Power 2000 exceeds the passenger-aircraft limit
DJI lists the Power 2000 as a 2,048 Wh LFP (lithium ferrophosphate) power station, with an approximate net weight of 22 kg. The FAA’s PackSafe guidance says lithium battery-powered power stations with a capacity greater than 160 Wh are not allowed on passenger aircraft. At 2,048 Wh, the Power 2000 is 12.8 times the 160 Wh threshold.

How FAA battery-capacity bands work
For passenger battery guidance, the FAA distinguishes capacity bands. The Power 2000 falls well beyond the band that requires airline approval.

Does airline approval or international travel change the answer?
Airline, security, and international requirements may add restrictions. IATA notes that carriage rules can vary according to an airline’s safety assessment, local regulations, route, and destination, and advises travelers to check with their airline. Those variations do not override the FAA’s stated limit for passenger aircraft: the 2,048 Wh Power 2000 exceeds it.

Why power-bank rules do not apply to this power station
IATA’s 2026 passenger guidance describes measures for smaller power banks, including a maximum of two power banks, each no greater than 100 Wh; airlines may impose stricter conditions. What to do if you need to travel with the Power 2000
The cited passenger-baggage guidance does not determine whether a cargo carrier, freight service, or ground-shipping provider will accept this unit. If you need it at your destination, contact the relevant service directly and ask about its current dangerous-goods requirements for a 2,048 Wh LFP power station. DJI also lists a Power Expansion Battery 2000; adding expansion capacity would not make passenger-aircraft carriage permissible.
