Usually, yes—if you bought the digital game outright. Sign in to the PlayStation account used to purchase it, then check Game Library > Your Collection. A delisting generally means the game is no longer offered for new purchases; the official sources cited here do not say that delisting automatically cancels an existing purchase. But Sony does not promise that every delisted game will remain downloadable indefinitely, and access can depend on the account, license terms, region, and whether the game’s online services are still running.
What delisting means for a game you bought
If your transaction was completed, start with the account that made the purchase. PlayStation’s download instructions direct players to their Game Library to download purchased games. In its US terms dated March 2026, Sony says that after confirming a transaction, and subject to applicable Usage Terms, a user may access the product through the account used to order it: PlayStation Terms of Service, section 8.16.

That supports trying to download a completed purchase after its Store listing disappears, but it is not a guarantee of perpetual access for every title. Sony’s terms also put responsibility on users to download or access a product before it is removed or its license expires. The terms cited are the US edition; terms and support guidance may differ by region.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsHow access differs: purchase versus PlayStation Plus
| How you got the game | What to check | What can affect access |
|---|---|---|
| Purchased outright | Use the purchasing account and check transaction history and Game Library. | The applicable license terms, account, and region; a delisting alone is not stated to revoke a completed purchase. |
| Claimed through PlayStation Plus | Confirm the subscription is active and the game remains available through the service. | Access depends on subscription status and the game’s continued availability through PlayStation Plus. |
Sony’s troubleshooting guidance treats subscription games differently from purchased games: for a Plus title, check that the subscription is active and that the title is still available through the service. A prior claim should not be assumed to work like an outright purchase.

How to find and download a purchased game on PS5
- Sign in to the PlayStation account that completed the purchase.
- On the PS5, open Games home > Game Library > Your Collection.
- Select the game and choose Download. Sony’s support instructions explain how to find and download purchased games.
If the game is missing or shows a lock
A missing library entry or lock icon does not, by itself, establish that a purchase has been lost. Sony recommends checking the purchase and license before treating the game as unavailable. Work through these checks:
- Review transaction history on the account you believe made the purchase. Confirm that the transaction completed, rather than relying on a different account’s library.
- Check whether the game is hidden in the library.
- Verify the console sharing settings, then try restoring licenses.
- If the game came from PlayStation Plus, confirm that the subscription is active and the title remains available through the service.
For a confirmed purchase that remains unavailable after these checks, contact PlayStation Support. Include any error code, the troubleshooting steps you tried, and when you attempted the download.

Downloading a game is not the same as keeping its online features
Even if you can download and launch a game, its online modes may depend on servers or other services that can change separately. Sony’s terms make access subject to applicable Usage Terms, and its service notices distinguish continued play from ongoing online features and service availability. Check the game’s official service notices for its current online status; do not assume that a working download means every online mode will remain available. If the game supports offline play, that is a separate question from whether its online services are operating.

What to check for a specific delisted title
For a particular game, check its PlayStation Store or library status, the account’s transaction history, and any official notice about its license or online services. If you cannot find a confirmed purchase, use PlayStation Support rather than assuming delisting erased it—or that redownload access is guaranteed. No universal promise for every delisted title is established by the cited PlayStation guidance and terms.
