Yes, but only through limited routes. You can shop online as a guest, enter a club with a member who accompanies you and pays, or use an in-club pharmacy without a membership. Those options do not generally let you shop the warehouse and independently buy general merchandise as a nonmember.
Ways to shop at Sam’s Club without a membership

Can you visit a club with a member?
Yes. Sam’s Club allows a member to bring up to two guests. The member must accompany guests at all times, and Sam’s Club states, “ONLY a member may purchase items.” A guest can accompany the member, but should not expect to check out independently for general merchandise. Can you order online without a membership?
Sam’s Club offers online guest shopping through a Guest Membership. You need a guest account to check out. The page describes this as a free trial of online shopping, but each guest order carries a 10% surcharge, and guest orders do not receive member-only savings. What online options are unavailable to guests?
- Guest Membership does not provide in-club shopping access.
- Guests cannot use curbside pickup or Scan & Go.
Can you use the pharmacy without a membership?
Yes. Sam’s Club says, “A Sam’s Club membership is not required to use our in-club pharmacy.” This exception covers the in-person pharmacy; it does not grant access to shop for general merchandise as a nonmember. Does the law allow nonmembers to shop?
Sam’s Club’s terms say consumers may shop without membership “where required by law,” but do not identify the jurisdictions or explain which purchases are covered. If you are relying on this exception, check the current law where you live and contact the club you plan to visit.
