EA’s records reviewed here do not identify an official native PC release or PC download of The Simpsons Game. EA’s October 30, 2007 launch announcement lists six console and handheld platforms, but no PC version, and a check of EA’s PC download catalog on October 4, 2026 did not surface a title-specific listing. That does not prove an authorized PC offer has never existed in any region or could not appear later. Whether downloading a game image or using an emulator is lawful is a separate question that depends on local law and the facts.

Was The Simpsons Game officially released for PC?

EA’s October 30, 2007 announcement said the game had shipped in North America and listed it for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, and Nintendo DS. It did not list PC. A check of EA’s general PC download catalog on October 4, 2026 also did not surface a title-specific PC listing.

The careful conclusion is that these EA sources do not identify an official native PC release or download. They are not proof that no authorized PC offer has ever existed in any country, or that one could never become available. The catalog check is a snapshot, not a complete historical or worldwide availability record.

What are the ways to play, and what do the sources establish?

Route What is established What is not established
Native PC version or download EA’s 2007 launch announcement lists six non-PC platforms; EA’s PC catalog check on October 4, 2026 did not surface a title-specific listing. These checks do not establish that an authorized PC offer has never existed in any region.
Original console or handheld version EA’s announcement lists PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, and Nintendo DS. A PS2 disc is a physical version for compatible original hardware or collecting. A console disc is not a PC download and does not by itself provide a way to play the game on a PC. Current stock, condition, and seller availability were not checked.
Console emulation or a downloaded image These are separate from an official native PC release. The sources reviewed do not resolve whether a particular image, copy, emulator, or required firmware may lawfully be obtained or used in your jurisdiction.

Is downloading a disc image or using an emulator legal?

There is no reliable blanket yes-or-no answer here. The applicable law can vary by jurisdiction, and the answer may depend on facts such as where the game image came from, whether you made a copy of a disc you own, and whether the emulator requires firmware obtained from a console. Owning a physical copy alone should not be treated as proof that every download or emulation method is lawful.

Do EA’s service records mean the game is still available or playable online?

EA’s service-update page includes The Simpsons Game for PS3 and Xbox 360 among entries dated before 2013. That is a service-update record; it is not evidence of a current sale, nor does it establish the present availability of every online feature.
