Tomorrow is Sunday, 4 October 2026. The published McDonald’s UK offer for a free regular McCafé coffee ended on 30 September, so it is not available tomorrow. Costa and Pret do offer loyalty rewards, but they must be earned or already available in your account; neither brand’s public terms promise a free item to everyone tomorrow. Check your app and the participating shop before setting out.
What free coffee or breakfast offers are available tomorrow?
No general offer guaranteeing a free coffee or breakfast at all three chains on 4 October 2026 is established by their published programme terms. The practical possibilities are rewards you have already earned, a qualifying birthday reward, or an individual offer shown in your app. These depend on your account and local availability.

Costa: redeem an existing reward or birthday treat
Costa Club Beans
Costa Club awards Beans for qualifying purchased barista-made drinks. Costa says ten drinks earn one free handcrafted drink; its FAQ also says using a reusable cup earns an extra Bean per drink, meaning five such qualifying purchases earn a free drink. These are cumulative rewards, not a promise that a new member can get a free drink tomorrow. See Costa Club and its FAQ for current terms.
Birthday treat and app offers
Costa’s FAQ says a member who provides a valid date of birth and agrees to marketing communications receives a birthday treat reward. It can be redeemed through seven days after the registered birthday, requires no purchase, and is subject to availability and exclusions for listed sweet-counter items. Costa also advertises app-only rewards and surprise Treat Drops, but does not publicly guarantee a specific offer for 4 October. Check your app for an available reward and its expiry.

- Use this Caribou Card or load the card balance in the app to make purchases at participating Caribou Coffee stores.
- Redemption: Instore and Online
- No returns and no refunds on gift cards.
Pret: use an earned Perk, not a free-drink promise
Pret Perks members scan their app code when shopping; ten stars earn a Perk selected from the available treats. The published terms do not show that a new member can earn and redeem one by tomorrow. Check the Pret Perks page and your app for your balance and available rewards.
Club Pret is a paid discount
Club Pret costs £5 per month and offers 50% off up to five eligible hot or iced barista-made drinks each day. It excludes blended drinks such as frappés and smoothies, and participating-shop and availability limits apply. This is a subscription discount, not a free drink or breakfast; check Club Pret’s terms before subscribing.

McDonald’s: the September free coffee promotion has ended
McDonald’s UK’s app-only promotion offered one free regular McCafé coffee per week from 8 to 30 September 2026, subject to account, app, age and other restrictions. It had ended by 3 October, so it does not establish a free coffee offer for tomorrow. The September announcement estimated up to four free coffees and savings of up to £8.76 during that promotion; those figures applied to that offer period only. See the McDonald’s UK newsroom for the announcement.
