The MS-02 Ultra supports low-profile graphics-card expansion, but the available evidence does not confirm that an RX 9600 XT was installed or tested in it. MINISFORUM lists several low-profile RTX 5060 cards as examples; it does not list the RX 9600 XT. Conflicting reports also leave the AMD card’s alleged test configuration unresolved.
Was the MS-02 Ultra actually tested with an RX 9600 XT?
That has not been established by the available reports. A Geeky Gadgets article dated October 5, 2026 describes the system as using an “AMD Radeon RX 960 XT”—a model name that differs from RX 9600 XT—and reports gaming and benchmark results. Those figures should not be attributed to an RX 9600 XT configuration without confirmation from the original test: Geeky Gadgets’ MS-02 Ultra review.
A separate DNS Club report dated August 15, 2026, summarizing an ETA PRIME video, describes a refurbished MS-02 Ultra with a Core Ultra 5 235HX, 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, and a second-hand RTX 5060. It says a low-profile RX 9600 XT was not available for that build. This is also secondary reporting, not direct confirmation of the original video’s hardware: DNS Club’s report on the build.

Can the MS-02 Ultra physically fit a low-profile graphics card?
MINISFORUM describes the MS-02 Ultra as a 4.8-litre workstation mini PC and documents low-profile GPU expansion. Its guide names the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 OC Low Profile, ASUS GeForce RTX 5060 LP, and ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5060 Low Profile as examples. These examples show that the chassis is designed for certain low-profile cards; they do not establish compatibility with every card sold as low-profile, including the RX 9600 XT. The guide says a dual-slot low-profile GPU blocks one PCIe x4 slot. So fitting a card has an expansion trade-off, even when the card itself clears the chassis.

What to verify for a specific card
- Dimensions and slot width: Compare the exact card’s height, length, and thickness with the chassis and slot clearances. “Low-profile” alone does not confirm that a particular model fits.
- Power requirements: MINISFORUM lists a 350 W internal PSU, but that rating does not prove that every GPU is suitable. Check the exact card’s power draw and connector requirements against the system configuration.
- Expansion needs: If the card is dual-slot, account for the PCIe x4 slot it blocks.
- Confirmed compatibility: Prefer a card explicitly listed by MINISFORUM or verified in this exact chassis. The guide’s RTX 5060 LP examples are documented; the RX 9600 XT is not.
What do independent MS-02 Ultra reviews establish?
They provide context about the mini PC, not proof of RX 9600 XT performance. In its 2026 review, Igor’sLAB reported 48.1 dB(A) under load and 214 W load power consumption for its tested system.
