Not on the strongest gaming evidence available. Lisuan Technology initially positioned its G100 as an RTX 4060-level product, but the latest located gaming comparison, reported in May 2026, found Nvidia’s RTX 4060 ahead by 20%–70% across the games tested. That comparison came from Chinese reviewer 潮玩客 and was relayed by Tom’s Hardware; it is not a controlled independent lab test. The result suggests the LX 7G100 is not yet a demonstrated RTX 4060 gaming rival, though the evidence does not settle performance in every game or workload.

Which Chinese 6nm GPU is being compared?

The product is Lisuan Technology’s G100 GPU, later reported as the LX 7G100 consumer graphics card. The “6nm” description refers to the manufacturing process Lisuan reported for the chip. In May 2025, the company announced that the G100 had powered on, while the RTX 4060 comparison was presented as a performance target or claim—not as an independently verified result. EET China’s report on the announcement provides that context.

In a clarification reproduced by EET China on June 23, 2025, Lisuan said the chip had completed packaging and returned on May 24, powered on May 25, and remained in performance testing. The company said, “目前测试进展符合预期,” translated as “Current testing progress is in line with expectations.” That was a progress update at the time, not a performance verdict. EET China’s report of the clarification also said product information should be based on Lisuan’s official releases.

What does the gaming comparison show?

Tom’s Hardware reported in May 2026 on a 1080p comparison by Chinese reviewer 潮玩客. In the compared results, the RTX 4060 was reportedly 20%–70% faster than the LX 7G100. The tests used varied low-to-medium settings, high settings where possible, and frame generation where supported. Because settings and frame-generation use affect results, the percentage range should be read as a summary of that comparison—not a universal gap or a matched laboratory result. Tom’s Hardware’s report attributes the underlying testing to 潮玩客’s video.

ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 V2 OC Edition (PCIe 4.0, 8GB GDDR6, DLSS 3, HDMI 2.1a, DisplayPort 1.4a, 2-Slot Design, Axial-tech Fan Design, 0dB Technology), 3 Year Warranty
  • Powered by NVIDIA DLSS3, ultra-efficient Ada Lovelace arch, and full ray tracing
  • 4th Generation Tensor Cores: Up to 4x performance with DLSS 3 vs. brute-force rendering
  • 3rd Generation RT Cores: Up to 2x ray tracing performance
  • OC Mode: 2535 MHz (Boost Clock) / Default Mode: 2505 MHz (Boost Clock)
  • Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure

This is the clearest located gaming evidence, but it does not establish performance in every title, consistency across drivers, or results under identical settings. A rigorous head-to-head would match resolution, game version, graphics preset, driver, upscaling and frame-generation settings, and would report frame-time consistency as well as average frame rates.

Why early benchmark numbers did not prove RTX 4060 gaming parity

The first Geekbench sample

An early Geekbench record for a G100 sample reported 32 compute units, 256MB of memory and a 300MHz clock. Those figures could reflect an immature sample or limited software and driver support, so the record is not a sound proxy for the final consumer card’s performance. Tom’s Hardware’s report on the Geekbench entry cautioned that the result might not represent a mature product.

The OpenCL result

In July 2025, a single leaked OpenCL result for a reported 48-compute-unit, 12GB G100 variant scored 111,290, compared with 101,028 for the RTX 4060 in the cited comparison. OpenCL measures a compute workload, not game performance; one leaked score cannot show that the card beats the RTX 4060 in games. Tom’s Hardware’s report explicitly distinguished the result from a gaming benchmark.

What the RTX 4060 baseline is—and what it does not tell you

Nvidia’s official product page lists the RTX 4060 with Ada Lovelace architecture, 3,072 CUDA cores, a 2.46GHz boost clock, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, a 128-bit memory interface and PCI Express Gen 4 support. Those specifications describe Nvidia’s card; they are not a direct performance comparison with the LX 7G100. Nvidia’s RTX 4060 product page also presents vendor performance charts. Its chart notes specify 1920×1080 at highest settings, DLSS Quality in supported games, and frame generation on RTX 40-series cards, so those figures should not be confused with a neutral, like-for-like test.

Is the LX 7G100 a practical RTX 4060 alternative?

Performance alone is not enough to judge a graphics card purchase. The available evidence here does not establish current worldwide stock, warranty coverage, driver compatibility across a representative set of games, or independently measured power and thermals for the LX 7G100. Tom’s Hardware reported a price of about $485 in May 2026, but that is a dated report, not a current quote or evidence of broad international availability. The report does not verify current listings or regional support.

  • For gaming performance: the reported comparison favors the RTX 4060 in the tested games; the size of the lead varied.
  • For compute: the leaked OpenCL result is a separate workload and cannot substitute for game testing.
  • For buying: compare current local prices, stock, warranty and return options, and look for reviews that disclose matched settings and frame-generation use.
