No. Epic Games says Fortnite outfits are cosmetic: they do not have different hitbox sizes, provide a competitive advantage, or enhance performance. A skin can look larger on screen without having a larger hitbox.
Do Fortnite skins change hitboxes?
No, according to Epic Games Support. Its guidance says: “Some Fortnite outfits may visibly appear larger in-game, but they do not differ in hitbox sizes.” In other words, an outfit’s visible shape and the area used for hit detection are not the same thing.
Epic’s support terminology is “outfits”; players commonly call them skins. The official answer applies to outfits generally. It does not name specific skin comparisons or quantify whether a particular appearance is easier or harder to spot, so visual size alone is not evidence of a gameplay advantage.

Can reactive skins affect gameplay?
Reactive cosmetics can change appearance or play sound in response to player actions or in-game events when their conditions are met, as described in Epic’s Reactive Skins guidance. That is a cosmetic reaction, not a change to hitboxes. Epic also says reactive kicks do not provide a gameplay advantage in its Reactive Cosmetics guidance.
