Si por «cámara HomeKit sin vídeo» quieres decir que no guarde clips, pero sí permita ver la imagen en directo, configura por separado la transmisión y la grabación en la app Casa. En las cámaras compatibles con Vídeo seguro de HomeKit, el modo sin grabación puede estar disponible, pero las opciones dependen del fabricante y del modelo. Consulta también quién puede ver la cámara y si puede acceder a ella a distancia.
Transmisión en directo y grabación no son lo mismo
Una cámara puede transmitir una imagen en directo sin guardar grabaciones, siempre que su modelo ofrezca esa combinación de opciones. Al configurarla en Casa, revisa los ajustes de transmisión y grabación en vez de asumir que desactivar una desactiva también la otra. Apple advierte que los modos disponibles varían según la cámara: configurar cámaras de seguridad en Casa en el iPhone.
También puedes establecer comportamientos diferentes según si el hogar está ocupado o vacío. Casa usa la ubicación de los dispositivos de las personas que forman parte del hogar para determinar esos estados; por eso, revisa cómo está configurado cada modo y no solo el que se aplica ahora.

- Añade la cámara a Casa. Usa un iPhone o iPad y sigue el proceso de emparejamiento indicado por el fabricante. Para usar Vídeo seguro de HomeKit, Apple requiere iCloud+, una central de accesorios configurada y que Casa esté activada en iCloud en los dispositivos pertinentes. Consulta cómo configurar Vídeo seguro de HomeKit en todos los dispositivos.
- Abre los ajustes de la cámara en Casa. Busca los controles de transmisión y grabación. La ruta y los nombres concretos pueden variar por versión del sistema y modelo.
- Elige el modo adecuado para no guardar clips. Si la cámara ofrece transmisión en directo sin grabación, selecciónala. No hay un nombre de menú universal para esta opción.
- Configura «En casa» y «Fuera» por separado. - Comprueba el acceso de las personas invitadas. Ajusta quién puede ver transmisiones o grabaciones, quién puede acceder de forma remota y quién puede administrar las cámaras.

Apple afirma que, en Vídeo seguro de HomeKit, el análisis de vídeo se realiza de forma privada en la central de accesorios y que los vídeos están cifrados de extremo a extremo. Revisa quién puede ver y administrar las cámaras
El propietario del hogar puede decidir qué pueden hacer las personas invitadas: ver transmisiones, acceder a grabaciones, usar acceso remoto o administrar cámaras. No concedas permisos de administración si solo necesitan mirar una transmisión. Puedes consultar los controles de acceso en la guía de Apple para gestionar accesorios y compartir el control del hogar con iCloud.

Si una persona debe poder ver la cámara fuera de casa, revisa ese permiso por separado del acceso para ver grabaciones. Así evitas confundir el acceso remoto con la decisión de guardar clips.
