The Nerd Stash reported the exchange on October 2, 2026, quoting both the creator’s account and dialogue attributed to the man; the available report does not independently verify the video or establish who had a legal duty to yield.
What the reported sidewalk confrontation involved
According to The Nerd Stash’s October 2, 2026 report, @banbeige described walking alone in a Los Angeles neighborhood with narrow sidewalks when a man walking his dog yelled at her for not moving into the street. The report does not identify a more precise location.
The creator’s post, as reproduced in the report, said: “I live in the hills, sidewalks are narrow. Months ago this guy walking his dog yelled at me (a woman walking alone) ‘WHAT, YOU’RE GONNA MAKE ME AND MY DOG WALK IN THE STREET??’ because I wouldnt step into traffic for him…now hes mansplaining his entitlement to the sidewalk.” The wording, including “mansplaining,” is her characterization of the encounter.
