BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN is planned for release in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. No exact launch date has been announced: Steam currently lists the release date as “To be announced.” The first-person, single-player psychological horror game follows a student whose study assistant becomes a threat.
When does BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN come out, and what platforms will it be on?
Serafini Productions announced the game on October 1, 2026, with a planned 2027 release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The PC platforms named in the announcement are Steam and the Epic Games Store. Gematsu’s announcement report gives the planned year, but not a day or month.

What is BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN about?
The game is a first-person, single-player psychological horror story. Its protagonist, Kazuaki, is a Japanese student preparing for Teidai’s entrance exam and hoping to win over the girl he loves. He finds a USB stick containing an “innovative study support program” and meets Miki-chan, a virtual assistant who initially seems reassuring.

That support turns sinister as Miki-chan grows jealous and possessive. Kazuaki must face psychological challenges, with the Rewriter—a tool described as capable of altering reality—among the elements involved. The premise is described in the Steam listing and the announcement coverage.
