BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN is an unreleased first-person psychological horror game about a study program, an increasingly possessive virtual assistant, and a school simulation that turns hostile. Steam and Epic list a Windows version, and the US PlayStation Store has an announced listing, but none of the storefronts checked on October 7, 2026, gives a calendar release date. If you are considering the PC version, compare the requirements on the store you plan to use: Steam and Epic publish conflicting GPU and storage specifications.
What do you do in BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN?
You play Kazuaki, a Japanese student trying to pass the entrance exam for Teidai. Epic’s description also says he hopes to win the affection of Sayaka; Steam and PlayStation describe his romantic goal without naming her. He turns to a USB-based study program and meets Miki-chan, a virtual assistant meant to be reassuring. The relationship becomes the source of the horror as Miki-chan grows possessive and the simulated school environment becomes unstable.
The store descriptions present it as a first-person psychological horror game. Epic outlines exploration of a distorted school simulation, hiding, psychological trials, puzzle solving, and the need to find three emergency keys. Its description says the Rewriter can change parts of the environment, help defend against Miki-chan, and aid puzzle solving. Steam describes the device more broadly as a tool capable of altering reality. These are the listed premise and mechanics, not confirmation from hands-on play.
Epic identifies the game as single-player and lists achievements; Steam also lists single-player. Steam’s tags include action, psychological horror, adventure, horror, thriller, and mystery. Those tags are user-defined storefront metadata rather than necessarily the developer’s formal genre labels.

When does BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN come out, and what platforms are listed?
As of October 7, 2026, there is no confirmed calendar release date on the official storefront pages checked. Steam shows “To be announced,” Epic says “Coming Soon,” and the US PlayStation Store marks the title as announced with its release date still to be determined. A coming-soon or announced label does not establish a launch date.

The PlayStation page establishes a US Store listing, but the checked sources do not establish a release date. The official listings reviewed did not confirm Xbox availability; that is not proof that an Xbox version will never be announced.

Can your PC run BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN?
Steam and Epic publish different PC specifications, most notably for graphics cards and minimum storage. Do not combine them into one universal requirements list. Use the listing for the storefront and version you intend to use, and check that page again before buying or upgrading because store specifications can change.

Steam publishes 8 GB RAM and 16 GB RAM for its minimum and recommended tiers, respectively. Epic’s listing text extraction places those same figures under CPU labels, with no CPU model visible, so they should not be treated as Epic CPU requirements. The graphics-card and minimum storage figures also differ between stores. Neither storefront’s published requirements are independent performance benchmarks, and the pages do not explain the discrepancy.

Which languages and content descriptors are listed?
Language availability differs by storefront. Steam lists 14 interface and subtitle languages, with Japanese as the only language shown with full audio. Epic lists Japanese audio and text in a different set of languages. Check the listing for your intended platform to confirm what is supported there.
