The Breville BFP660 is a discontinued Kitchen Wizz 11 in Australia and New Zealand, but Breville uses the same BFP660 code for a US-market Sous Chef 12 variant. That distinction matters: the regional product pages list different configurations, and the available evidence does not establish an independent test verdict, current stock, or price. This review separates Breville’s published features from what has—and has not—been verified independently.
Which Breville BFP660 is this?
Start with the country and full model suffix, not just “BFP660.” Breville’s Australian and New Zealand product page identifies the appliance as the Kitchen Wizz 11 and says it has been discontinued. The US page uses the BFP660 code for the Sous Chef 12, with the full model number BFP660SILUSC. The US listing also specifies 110–120 V, so its configuration should not be assumed to describe every Kitchen Wizz 11 sold in another market.
Before buying a used or remaining-stock unit, check the label on the appliance and confirm the voltage, condition, included attachments, warranty and return terms with the seller. A listing that says “BFP660” alone does not establish which regional version or accessory bundle is being offered.

Breville describes the AU/NZ Kitchen Wizz 11 as a food processor for slicing, dicing, chopping, shredding and kneading bread dough. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independent findings about speed, consistency, batch size or ease of use.

Breville lists an adjustable slicer with 24 settings spanning 0.3 mm to 8.0 mm, along with three feed-chute options. Those are the manufacturer’s stated settings and range; they do not establish how evenly the machine slices particular ingredients in practice.
Motor and safety claims
Breville describes an induction motor with overload protection and a safety braking system intended to stop the machine rapidly if the lid is opened unexpectedly. These are product-page descriptions, not independently verified performance or safety-test results.

The AU/NZ page also lists a high-impact plastic base, BPA-free bowl and stainless steel spindle. The US capacity, power, voltage and warranty figures apply to the US listing and should not be transferred to a Kitchen Wizz 11 configuration without confirming its exact regional model.

Is there an independent test verdict?
An exact-title CHOICE review page exists, but the accessible result did not expose its score, findings, test protocol or test date. It would therefore be misleading to claim that CHOICE found the BFP660 good, poor, reliable or particularly effective. Breville’s product descriptions alone cannot answer questions about real-world chopping consistency, dough handling, noise, durability or usable batch size.

- Confirm the exact model and regional variant from the appliance label, not only the listing title.
- Match the appliance’s voltage to the electrical supply where it will be used.
- Ask the seller to identify which blades and accessories are included; compare them with the bundle you need.
