The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) are rated for up to 30 hours of battery life, can stay connected to two Bluetooth devices at once, and support wired listening over USB-C audio. Bose also includes a 3.5 mm-to-2.5 mm audio cable. The fit is adjustable and around-ear, but comfort depends on the wearer.
How long does the battery last?
Bose rates the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) for up to 30 hours on a full charge. A 15-minute charge is rated to provide up to 3 hours of playback, or up to 2 hours with Immersive Audio. These are Bose estimates, not independent test results; actual runtime varies with settings and use. Bose product specifications
Bose’s 2025 launch announcement gives additional estimates for specific listening conditions: up to 23 hours with Immersive Audio enabled and up to 45 hours with ANC off. Treat each figure as a manufacturer claim for its stated condition, not a guarantee of the runtime you will get. Bose’s 2025 announcement
Does it support multipoint, and how do you switch devices?
Yes. The headphones can remain actively connected to two Bluetooth source devices at once, but they play audio from only one device at a time. To switch, pause playback on the first device and start playback on the second. Calls can reach the headphones from either connected device. Bose’s multipoint guidance Bose owner guide

Can you listen to music over a wired connection?
Yes. Bose documents USB-C audio playback, and says compatible USB-C source devices can provide 16-bit audio at 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz. Bose describes this USB audio as digital and “lossless”; that description applies to compatible sources and is Bose’s characterization. Bose product page
The box contents include both a USB-C cable and a 3.5 mm-to-2.5 mm audio cable. The USB-C audio feature is distinct from charging over USB-C: a charging connection alone does not establish that a source is sending audio. Bose also says the headphones can be charged while worn, though charging may take longer during use. Bose product page

Will the fit be comfortable?
Bose describes the headphones as around-ear (circumaural), with an adjustable headband and removable ear cushions; its launch announcement calls the cushions plush and the fit lightweight. Those are design details, not a promise that they will suit every wearer. Head and ear shape, glasses, and how long you wear them can all affect personal comfort.
