Bosch announced a new two-rack 300 Series dishwasher on July 10, 2024 (with a July 9 Irvine dateline). The launch model has a full stainless-steel tub, Bosch’s connected Home Connect features, and hands-free control through Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Bosch stated a $699 launch price and nationwide retailer availability in black, white, and fingerprint-resistant stainless steel.
What Bosch announced
BSH Home Appliances Corporation described the product as a more affordable, two-rack addition to the Bosch 300 Series. The announcement identifies the rack count and core features but does not provide a model number.
Bosch’s Head of Dish Care for North America, Richard Tarrant, said the company was expanding its lineup to make Bosch appliances more accessible. The release characterized the price as offering signature Bosch features without compromising performance or reliability; those are Bosch’s product claims, not independent test results.

The app can send push notifications and save Favorite settings, so commonly used configurations can be selected again without rebuilding them each time.
Detergent-tablet replenishment
Bosch documents an Amazon Smart Reorder feature that can identify low dishwasher-tablet supplies and place a reorder through Amazon. Setup involves connecting Home Connect with Alexa and enabling the Dishwasher skill. This is an optional replenishment feature; Bosch does not say that buying tablets through Amazon is required to operate the dishwasher.

The July 2024 release does not identify the new dishwasher by model number. Bosch’s current site lists 300 Series models such as SHE53CE5N and SHE53C82N, but the available information does not connect either listing to the specific two-rack unit announced in 2024. Their specifications, pricing or availability should not be presented as proof of the announcement model’s identity or current stock.
What to verify before buying
- Confirm the exact model number on the retailer or Bosch listing.
- Check whether that model supports the cycles and options you want through Home Connect.
- Verify that your home has a compatible Alexa- or Google Assistant-enabled device.
- Complete Home Connect setup and activate Remote Start before attempting voice commands.
- Compare the current selling price with Bosch’s historical $699 launch price rather than treating $699 as a present quote.
- Confirm finish, rack layout, dimensions, delivery and installation details for the specific listing.
The Bottom Line
Bosch’s July 2024 announcement introduced a two-rack 300 Series dishwasher with a stainless-steel tub, PrecisionWash, PureDry, AquaStop and Home Connect integration. Alexa and Google Home control are supported after Remote Start is enabled, while the $699 figure and nationwide availability describe the launch—not necessarily today’s price or stock. Bosch did not publish the announcement model’s number, so current 300 Series listings should be checked individually.
