What Bootstrap Buttons V09 includes
Colorlib lists V09 among 25 button options in its article dated October 1, 2026. Its V09-specific description highlights an outline-on-hover effect and choices of colors and sizes; it does not establish a precise shape, a full list of variants, or which interaction states are implemented. The roundup describes its button sets broadly as free downloads with live demos and says the collection is based on HTML and CSS, with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript used for some dropdown sets. That collection-level description does not establish whether V09 itself needs Bootstrap, jQuery, or any other dependency. Inspect the V09 markup and stylesheet and test the snippet in your project rather than assuming it is a drop-in Bootstrap component.

Bootstrap’s official v5.3 documentation says, “The .btn class is intended to be used in conjunction with our button variants, or to serve as a basis for your own custom styles.” The base class handles button padding and alignment; variants such as primary, secondary, success, and outline styles provide additional appearances. Check interaction and accessibility before publishing
A hover effect alone is not enough feedback: touch users may not have a hover state. Check how the button looks at rest, while focused by keyboard, while pressed, and on a touch device. If the V09 code does not provide a clear focus indicator, add one in your own stylesheet.
Colorlib’s roundup advises checking contrast and target size rather than assuming a preview is sufficient. It cites 4.5:1 contrast for normal text, 3:1 for interface components, a 24 by 24 CSS-pixel minimum target size under WCAG 2.2, and about 44 by 44 CSS pixels as a practical aim. Treat these as the figures reported in that roundup, not as measurements of V09. Check the applicable accessibility requirements for your project. An icon-only button also needs an accessible name.
Compare V09 with neighboring styles
Colorlib describes V07 as pill-shaped, V08 as sharp-edged, and V09 by its outline-on-hover effect. These are different attributes: the descriptions do not verify V09’s corner shape or provide a full side-by-side account of focus behavior, icons, or dependencies. Use the demos and code to compare resting appearance, hover and focus states, color and size choices, and any JavaScript requirement before selecting a style.
