Booke is a Bootstrap website template for promoting a book or author—not a hosted publishing service. Colorlib’s listing describes a responsive design with an image slider, about section, testimonials, contact page, social links, sticky navigation and hover effects. It can direct visitors to an order page or a third-party sales platform. Whether it is right for you depends on your deployment workflow, the size of your author site and the sales and support features you need.
What Booke is—and what it is not
Colorlib presents Booke as a website template intended to give a new book more exposure and introduce it to prospective buyers. Because it is Bootstrap-based, it is a template for building and deploying a website, not a hosted service that automatically publishes or sells books for you. The listing does not specify the hosting setup Booke requires; confirm deployment details with Colorlib or a developer before purchasing.
Booke’s calls to action can point visitors to an order page or a third-party platform. The listing does not establish that the template processes payments or includes a checkout system, so treat sales and fulfillment as separate decisions.

What the template includes
Colorlib’s product page, dated September 29, 2026, names these elements:
- An image slider and sticky navigation
- An about section and testimonials
- A contact page
- Social buttons and hover effects
Colorlib describes Booke as “responsive and 100% mobile-friendly.” That is the publisher’s claim, not an independent device, accessibility or browser-compatibility test. The listing also does not establish page speed, conversion performance or accessibility conformance. A contact page is listed, but a newsletter signup form or email-marketing integration is not.

License, price and support terms
Colorlib labels the license CC BY 3.0 and displays three purchase options. The prices and terms below reflect the listing checked October 7, 2026; confirm the live page and checkout terms before buying because they may change. The license text and checkout were not independently reviewed.
| Option | Displayed price | Support and updates listed |
|---|---|---|
| Single | $19 | One year |
| Membership | $129 | One year |
| Lifetime | $349 | Lifetime |
A template purchase is only one part of the cost. Budget separately for deployment and any hosting or platform fees; the Booke listing does not give a specific hosting requirement or cost.

How to decide if Booke fits your author site
Choose it for a focused book launch page
Booke’s listed sections suit a compact promotional site: introduce the book or author, show testimonials, provide contact details and send prospective buyers to an order destination. This may be a practical fit when you want a focused page and are comfortable arranging deployment for a Bootstrap template.
Look beyond the listed features for a larger author presence
If you need pages for several books, a blog, event listings, newsletter capture or integrated ecommerce, verify that you can add those features and maintain them in your chosen setup. They are not established by Booke’s feature listing. For context, Webflow’s author-template directory describes common author-site functions, and its separate Authorial template listing describes a Webflow-based option with blog and ecommerce features. Those examples use a different platform and do not establish a controlled comparison or make one template objectively best.
Quick Recap
Compare the whole workflow, not just the design
- Platform and deployment: Booke is identified as Bootstrap-based. Compare that workflow with a hosted builder if you prefer managed editing and deployment.
- Site scope: Decide whether one book landing page is enough or you need a maintainable catalog and ongoing publishing.
- Sales route: Work out whether calls to action should send readers to an external retailer or whether you need a separate checkout solution.
- Support and total cost: Check current license and support terms, then account for development, hosting or platform fees as applicable.
What to verify before buying
- Ask Colorlib or your developer how Booke is deployed and what hosting environment it needs.
- Check whether you can make the changes you expect—such as adding book pages, a blog, events or a newsletter signup—in the implementation you plan to use.
- Test the live demo and any intended sales links on the devices and browsers important to your readers; the publisher’s responsive claim is not a substitute for your own checks.
- Review the live license, support and update terms at checkout, and confirm the displayed price for the option you intend to purchase.
