The Blueair ComfortPure 3-in-1 T10i combines a fan, air purifier and supplemental heater, so it may help keep one small room comfortable without heating the whole home. A TechRadar deal report captured it at £237 in the UK, down from £399, and $319.95 in the US, down from $499.99; those regional prices may have changed. The claimed lower running cost is not established: Blueair’s listed 21 W figure is not clearly identified as heating-mode consumption, so it cannot support a reliable comparison with central heating.
What is the Blueair ComfortPure 3-in-1 T10i deal?
The T10i is a three-function appliance: it purifies air, circulates it with a fan and provides supplemental heat. TechRadar reported an Amazon offer of £237 in the UK, reduced from £399, and $319.95 in the US, reduced from $499.99. Can it keep a small room comfortable without central heating?
It could be useful when you want targeted heat in one room rather than turning on a whole-home heating system, but the evidence does not establish that it will suit every room or household. Blueair recommends the T10i for rooms of about 16 m². Its heating mode works toward a selected target temperature: the heater switches off when the target is reached and resumes if the room cools below it. Blueair says heating is controlled on the device and cannot be enabled through the app for regulatory reasons. Does it cost less to run than central heating?
That claim is not verified by the available figures. Blueair lists energy consumption of 21 W, but its product page does not make clear that this is the draw in heating mode. It would be misleading to use 21 W to estimate the cost of running the heater or to claim a general saving over central heating.

A meaningful comparison needs the T10i’s power draw while heating, how long it runs, your electricity tariff, and the cost of the central-heating energy it would replace. The result would also depend on whether you heat just one room or the whole home. No like-for-like operating-cost calculation is provided by the cited sources.
Is the fan a substitute for air conditioning?
No. Blueair describes cooling as fan circulation of purified air at room temperature; the cooling mode does not let you set a target temperature. The T10i is not an air-conditioning unit, so it can move air but should not be expected to lower a room’s temperature like an AC system. Blueair lists a sound range of 24–52 dB on its product page; it does not identify a specific operating condition for each end of that range. Blueair’s FAQ describes the cooling limitation.

What should you check before buying?
- Room size: Blueair’s recommended area is 16 m²; the T20i is listed by Blueair as its large-room option, while the T10i is the small-room model. Blueair’s US collection lists the models.
- Which functions you need: The device combines purification, fan circulation and supplemental heat. If you mainly need room cooling, its fan is not air conditioning.
- Running costs: Do not treat the 21 W specification as heater consumption. Check the manual or manufacturer’s mode-specific information and compare it with your actual tariff and heating setup.
- Filter upkeep: The T10i uses a compatible replaceable filter. Blueair’s FAQ gives a 6–9 month recommendation, while its product page says filter life can be up to one year depending on use. Follow the device’s filter indicator and model manual; Blueair recommends original compatible filters.
