Thanks to the improved resolution, the display offers a more crisp and well-defined viewing experience at 409 PPI. Furthermore, the colors on the display are super vibrant and the viewing angles are excellent.
Moreover, its 19.5:9 aspect ratio coupled with its ultra-slim bezels make the smartphone’s display look more beautiful. Hence, watching movies or YouTube videos on the BLU G9 Pro is a delight.
The smartphone’s 91% screen to body ratio also adds to the cinematic experience it offers. Playing games is also more interesting on the BLU G9 Pro.

The BLU G9 Pro comes with a triple camera setup behind the phone. There is a 5 MP camera for sensing & portrait effects, a 20 MP camera for night mode, and a 16 MP primary camera.
In addition, the BLU G9 Pro features a 24 MP camera front-facing camera for users who enjoy taking selfies. However, this smartphone’s software-based portrait mode doesn’t offer a satisfactory performance when using the front camera.
But the main rear shooter performs much better thanks to its separate depth sensor. It doesn’t depend on software effects to adjust field depth.
Furthermore, this smartphone’s camera is also good for video making. However, you will have to settle for recording only in 1080p at 30 FPS since the smartphone’s camera doesn’t offer 4k recordings.
Though, 1080p at 30 FPS is normal for a smartphone under $200.
In its entirety, this device has some of the best cameras BLU has to offer currently. However, as expected, the smartphone’s camera is not up to the level of quality you would get in a flagship device.

Much to my surprise, BLU equipped the BLU G9 Pro with a 4000 mAh battery. This large battery capacity provides an amazing battery life as expected.
On a single charge, the BLU G9 Pro can last up to a day or two depending on the rate of usage. Moreover, you can get up to 9 hours of on-screen time with this smartphone’s battery.
In addition, the BLU G9 Pro supports fast charging. Hence, you can charge the phone from 0% to 100% in about 1 hour 30 minutes.
As if that wasn’t incredible enough, the BLU G9 Pro also supports wireless charging. It offers 18-watt wireless charging which is one of the fastest charging rates you can get in the smartphone market today.
Additionally, with wireless charging feature, you don’t need to plug in the smartphone.
One thing to note, however, is that this smartphone’s battery is not removable. It is in-built and therefore cannot be replaced.

However, the operating system makes partial use of the smartphone’s internal storage. But this shouldn’t be an issue since there is enough storage capacity.

The BLU G9 Pro is no exception. It comes with an accelerometer, compass, gyro, and Proximity sensors.
The accelerometer detects axis-based motion sensing. It senses the changes in the orientation of the smartphone with respect to x, y, and z-axis.
With the accelerometer, the phone is able to automatically change the orientation of the phone as you move it from vertical to horizontal – and vice versa.
As I mentioned earlier, BLU G9 Pro also comes with a compass. Just like normal compasses, the compass sensor in the phone helps in detecting directions.
The compass sensor also provides the smartphone with a simple orientation in relation to the Earth’s magnetic field so the phone can always know your physical position. Although most users may not require this feature, it is nice to know that it is there in case you ever need it.
Furthermore, the phone also comes with a gyro sensor. The gyro sensor is an advanced version of the accelerometer. While the accelerometer detects axis-based motion sensing, the gyroscope works with the accelerometer and detects each degree of changes in orientation.

One important benefit of the proximity sensor is that when you are making a phone call, it detects the proximity of your ears. Then, it dims the phone’s display to save battery.
