You can block a specific show or movie on Netflix for one profile without blocking it on every profile. In a browser, open your Netflix account settings, choose Profiles, then Adjust parental controls for the profile. After verifying your identity, add the title under Title Restrictions and save.
Block a show from a Netflix profile in a browser

Sign in to Netflix in a web browser and open the Account page.

Under Profiles, expand the profile you want to change and select Adjust parental controls.

Select the profile and verify your identity if prompted. Netflix may ask for your account password or send a verification code to your email or mobile number.

Under Title Restrictions, enter the show or movie name, select the matching title, and save.
The restriction applies to the profile you edited. Netflix removes titles listed under Blocked Titles or Title Restrictions from that profile.

Use the Netflix app where supported
For supported profiles, Netflix documents this route in the app: My Netflix → profile name → Manage Profiles → profile → Viewing Restrictions → Block Titles. Select the title to block it. Kids profiles are an exception: Netflix requires you to manage title blocking for them in a web browser.
Choose between blocking one title and setting a maturity limit

Netflix explains that you can block specific shows and movies from individual profiles in its maturity ratings guidance. Maturity ratings can vary by region. For a series with multiple seasons, the rating shown when a season starts may differ from the overall show rating or its content themes.

Unblock a title or find one missing from the list
Return to the same restriction area and select the X beside the title. In the app, Netflix documents selecting Edit and then the X.
The blocked-title list displays only the first 100 shows and movies. You can block additional titles; if one you want to unblock is not visible, search for it in the restriction setting.

What to check if the change does not appear

Switch to another profile and back, or sign out and sign in again, to refresh the restriction on a device.

If you cannot find a show at all, it may not be licensed or released in your country, a VPN may affect the titles shown, the show may exceed the profile’s maturity limit, it may be blocked for that profile, or it may not be available in the profile language.

When checking a series’ maturity rating, remember that ratings can vary by region and may differ between a season and the show as a whole.
