BLADE says its BLADEone service will return for the 2026–2027 winter season, with scheduled flights from Westchester County Airport (HPN) to Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF) or Palm Beach’s President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT). The announced season runs November 19, 2026, through May 2, 2027. The flights are to be operated by USAC Airways 695, an Aero subsidiary, using a jet configured with 16 single seats.

The pitch is a scheduled, premium seat rather than a charter of the whole aircraft: BLADE advertises private-terminal access, an optional Manhattan helicopter connection, and onboard dining and entertainment. Routes, dates, fares, and policies can change, so check live booking details before making plans.

What BLADEone is bringing back

BLADE announced a seasonal New York–South Florida service in partnership with Aero. It describes the aircraft as a commercial-sized jet retrofitted with 16 single seats, each positioned between a window and the aisle. The company lists a scheduled flight time of 2 hours 45 minutes between New York City and Miami or Palm Beach; that is flight time, not the full door-to-door journey.

The announcement names USAC Airways 695, an Aero subsidiary, as the flight operator. BLADE markets and arranges the service; its legal disclosure says that for U.S. flights it acts as an air charter broker and indirect air carrier, and that flights are operated by DOT/FAA-licensed direct air carriers. The announcement identifies Blade Urban Air Mobility, Inc. as a Joby Aviation company.

Season, route and schedule

The announced operating window is November 19, 2026, through May 2, 2027. The endpoints are HPN and one of two Florida airports: OPF for Miami or DJT for Palm Beach. These are specific airports rather than downtown destinations, so allow for onward ground transportation after landing.

BLADE’s service page lists departures on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays, with additional holiday flights. That page labels the season November 2026 to May 2027. The company’s dates and schedule are expected service details, not a guarantee that a particular flight will operate; check current availability when booking.

How the Manhattan connection works

Travelers can start at Blade Lounge West in Manhattan and take a helicopter to HPN, or go directly to BLADE’s private terminal at Westchester. BLADE describes the helicopter leg as approximately 10 minutes in its announcement and 12 minutes on its service page. Treat either figure as the company’s estimate for the helicopter segment, not a guaranteed transfer or total trip time. Ground access, waiting, weather and operational conditions affect the overall journey.

At the Florida end, the announcement names the Blade–Aero Lounge at OPF and a private terminal at DJT. The service page also describes private lounges and FBO access. A private terminal does not remove the need to arrange transport from the airport to a hotel, home or meeting.

What the 16-seat service advertises

BLADE and Aero describe the offering as a premium scheduled flight, not a whole-aircraft charter. The announcement lists Starlink Wi-Fi, curated amenity kits, dining and bar service, and a cabin team identified as SKYfx. BLADE’s service page additionally advertises chef-curated dining, caviar, a full bar, iPad Pros loaded with first-run movies, and a BLADE Dopp Kit. These are provider-advertised features; confirm what is included on the flight you book.

BLADE founder and CEO Rob Wiesenthal characterized the service as occupying a gap between what he called a “$1,000 first class seat” and a “$25,000 private jet charter.” Those are his comparison figures, not published BLADEone fares or independently verified market averages. Aero CEO Ben Klein described Aero’s intended audience as travelers seeking “the privacy and ease of a private jet without chartering the whole aircraft.”

Prices and seat-pack availability

BLADE’s page lists a 20-seat pack from $2,300 per seat and a 10-seat pack from $2,500 per seat, with advertised discounts of $500 and $300 per seat, respectively. The page presents these as “from” prices and says prospective pass holders should join a waitlist. They do not establish that a seat at that price is currently bookable, nor do they state the live price for an individual ticket. Check the booking page for inventory, final price and applicable terms.

The same page lists a seasonal Dog Pass at $3,500 for dogs up to 20 lb. As with the seat packs, the listing and waitlist language do not guarantee current availability. Verify eligibility and total cost at checkout.

  • Jet only: two checked bags weighing up to 100 lb total, one carry-on and one personal item.
  • Helicopter connection: one carry-on weighing up to 25 lb and one personal item.

The difference matters if you plan to carry a larger bag: the helicopter allowance is not the same as the jet-only allowance. Check current bag dimensions and weight rules before packing, and weigh the bag as packed.

BLADE says a dog under 20 lb may travel for an additional $300 per flight. A larger dog requires a seat, and a passenger bringing more than one small dog must purchase an additional seat. The seasonal Dog Pass is described as covering dogs up to 20 lb on flights the passenger books during the season. Confirm current rules and fees before booking.

Changes and the trade-off versus charter

BLADE says a BLADEone seat can be switched up to seven days before departure. Within seven days, it says a flight cannot be altered unless a substitute passenger buys the seat; in that case, BLADE issues credit equal to the ticket price. Read the linked cancellation and change policies for the full terms before purchasing.

A scheduled seat can avoid paying to charter an entire aircraft, but it follows the published service rather than a departure time chosen for one traveler. BLADE says charter customers can select a specific departure time and may be able to accommodate excess luggage. Compare the complete trip—not just time in the air—using these factors:

  • Door-to-door time, including travel to the departure airport, the helicopter connection if used, and transport from the Florida airport.
  • The exact origin and destination airports.
  • The all-in ticket price and the rules for changes, cancellations or credits.
  • Baggage and pet allowances.
  • Which lounge and onboard amenities are included on the specific booking.
  • Whether a scheduled departure meets your needs or charter flexibility is more important.

What to verify before paying

  1. Confirm the date, operating day, destination airport and live seat inventory in BLADE’s BLADEone booking information.
  2. Check the final ticket price and whether a listed seat pack or Dog Pass is actually available.
  3. Confirm baggage and pet rules for the exact itinerary, especially if connecting by helicopter.
  4. Review the current change and cancellation terms and plan ground transportation at both ends.
  5. Check the listed amenities for your flight rather than assuming every advertised feature will be available.
