Bitdeer plans to add about 7 MW of Bitcoin mining equipment at Soluna’s Project Kati 1 in South Texas, raising its announced deployment there from about 28 MW to about 35 MW. Soluna said the expanded deployment represents approximately 2.42 EH/s of hash rate and forecast that the additional equipment would be deployed by November 2026. That date was a forecast in the September 24 announcement, not confirmation that the equipment is already operating.
What changed in the Bitdeer–Soluna agreement?
In an amendment announced September 24, 2026, Soluna Holdings said Dory Creek, LLC—a wholly owned Bitdeer subsidiary—would add approximately 7 MW of Bitcoin mining equipment at Project Kati 1. The announced total for Bitdeer at the site rises to approximately 35 MW, with an associated hash rate of approximately 2.42 EH/s, according to Soluna’s announcement.
The amendment expands an agreement announced August 25, 2026. That earlier plan covered approximately 28 MW and approximately 1.93 EH/s, with deployment due to begin in batches in September. The later announcement describes the expansion as happening before the initial deployment was finished; it does not establish that the original 28 MW had all reached operation. These are figures and schedules reported in company announcements, not independently audited operating results. Soluna CEO John Belizaire said, “We entered our first co-mining agreement with Bitdeer in August, and we are expanding it before that deployment is even finished.” That is Soluna’s description of the deal’s progress, not independent validation of performance.

Where is Project Kati 1?
Soluna describes Project Kati 1 as an 83 MW wind-powered data center in Willacy County, Texas. The Bitdeer deployment is in the site’s K1BC phase, which Soluna said was fully subscribed in its September 24 announcement. These site and subscription details are company-reported.
How does the co-mining arrangement work?

The amendment retains the original arrangement’s structure. Soluna’s release does not specify how proceeds are divided, what Bitdeer pays for power, or how long the agreement lasts.
What does the 35 MW announcement establish—and what remains unknown?
The announcement establishes the companies’ planned capacity and Soluna’s estimate of the associated hash rate. It does not confirm that the new equipment was installed, energized, or producing Bitcoin. Soluna forecast completion of the additional deployment in November 2026; the reviewed September 24 release does not confirm that milestone.

The release also does not disclose realized mining output or revenue, the proceeds split, power costs, or contract duration. As a result, the expansion signals a larger announced deployment at Kati 1, but the available terms are not sufficient to calculate either company’s economics or verify operating performance.
