BigRock can be a practical place to register or manage a domain, but whether it is right for you depends on the extension you want, its renewal price, and the privacy and transfer rules that apply to your domain. Before paying, check the full cost for your exact TLD and read the relevant refund and privacy terms.
What BigRock offers
BigRock sells domain registrations across multiple extensions, including .in, .com, and .org. It also advertises DNS management, domain forwarding, theft protection, and an account control panel. Those are BigRock’s descriptions of its services; the available information does not independently establish how easy the controls are to use or how well customer support resolves problems.
Domain registration is the core decision. Hosting and custom-domain email are related services, but they are not necessary simply to register a domain.

There is no single price that applies to every BigRock domain. Its official domain price list covers many extensions, and prices vary by TLD and currency. The list was checked on October 7, 2026; amounts can change, so verify the current figures for your chosen extension at checkout.

Compare the registration price with the renewal price, not just the amount promoted for the first term. Also check the transfer price if you may move an existing domain. The total cost for the extension and term you actually need is more useful than an introductory offer on its own.
- Confirm the initial registration amount for the exact extension.
- Check the renewal amount and how often it recurs.
- Check any transfer charge before moving an existing domain.
- Use the currency and term that will apply to your order.
What happens when you transfer a domain to BigRock?

- Disable domain privacy if it is enabled.
- Confirm the registrant email address.
- Remove the domain lock.
- Obtain the domain’s authorization code.
- Start the transfer with BigRock and follow the instructions for the order.
BigRock says a transfer can take 7–14 days, depending in part on the existing registrar’s process. Its transfer information also advertises a one-year extension to the domain’s current expiry date at no additional cost. Confirm that the extension applies to your TLD and order before relying on it.

Are domain refunds available?
BigRock’s money-back policy limits refunds for domain services. It says renewals and auto-renewals are not refundable, and domain deletion during the money-back period may incur a fee. Only selected TLDs qualify for a four-day domain refund period, so check whether your extension is eligible before registering.

The same policy says auto-renewal is attempted seven days before expiry for orders with a tenure under three months, and 30 days before expiry for orders over three months. These are policy-specific timings; review the current terms and your account’s renewal settings rather than assuming a renewal will occur on the expiry date.
Does BigRock provide WHOIS privacy?
Do not assume that registration details will be hidden for every BigRock domain. BigRock’s privacy policy says domain registration information may be publicly available through WHOIS when ICANN or registry rules require it. It also describes an individual opt-out from bulk access in some circumstances. That is not a guarantee of uniform private registration across TLDs or jurisdictions.

Before registering, check the privacy options for the exact extension and your registrant jurisdiction. If keeping personal details out of public registration data is essential, confirm what protection is available and what information may still be disclosed under applicable rules.

What do customer complaints tell you?
One Reddit user reported friction with BigRock’s “eKYC system,” being “unable to transfer my domain” while verification was pending, spam calls, and concern about “no WHOIS privacy support” for a .in domain. This is one person’s account, not evidence of how often those issues occur or how all .in registrations are handled. It does, however, make verification requirements and privacy options worth checking before you commit.

Who should consider BigRock?
BigRock may suit someone who has confirmed the total cost, renewal terms, privacy options, and management features for a specific domain. It is a less comfortable choice if you need guaranteed WHOIS privacy, rely on an uncomplicated transfer, or have not checked the renewal and refund rules that apply to your TLD.
There is not enough current, independently sourced evidence here to rank BigRock against other registrars. If you compare providers, use the same TLD and term, and check registration and renewal costs, transfer timing and charges, privacy availability, refund rules, DNS and account controls, and documented support options.
