Lamine Yamal, Désiré Doué and Yan Diomande lead the available under-21 right-winger shortlist for FC 27 Career Mode. Yamal has the highest listed potential, while Doué and Diomande offer a six-point gap between their current overall rating and potential. Their listed prices vary sharply, so the right choice depends on your club’s budget, squad needs and how long you plan to develop a prospect. The figures below come from FAFIFA’s 20 August 2026 update 1 and may change with later squad updates.
Best young right wingers in FC 27 Career Mode
FAFIFA’s 20 August 2026 update 1 ranks 192 right wingers aged 21 or younger by potential. The cohort averages 19.4 years of age and 74.4 potential, but its top three are substantially more highly rated. The figures are database values, not guarantees of how a player will develop in an individual save.
| Player | Club listed | Age | Overall | Potential | Growth margin | Listed value | Listed wage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lamine Yamal | FC Barcelona | 18 | 90 | 95 | +5 | €191 million | €457,000 |
| Désiré Doué | Paris Saint-Germain | 21 | 86 | 92 | +6 | €124.3 million | €132,000 |
| Yan Diomande | RB Leipzig | 19 | 84 | 90 | +6 | €73 million | €48,000 |
All age, potential, growth-margin, value and wage figures in the table are from FAFIFA’s dated snapshot; the monetary figures are in-game euros. EA’s official right-wing ratings page independently lists Yamal at 90 overall, Doué at 86 and Diomande at 84, but does not confirm their potential, age, value or wage. Both databases can change after updates.

#1 Best Overall
Which player fits your save?
Choose Yamal for the highest ceiling and immediate quality
Yamal combines the highest listed potential in this shortlist, 95, with a 90 overall rating. That makes him the clearest choice if your team can pursue a premium signing and needs a right winger who is already highly rated. The trade-off is cost: FAFIFA lists his in-game value at €191 million and wage at €457,000, so he is not a sensible assumption for a budget-constrained club.
Choose Doué for a balance of current rating and room to grow
Doué is listed at 86 overall and 92 potential, a six-point growth margin. At 21, he is the oldest of these three but still within the ranking’s under-21 cutoff. His listed value of €124.3 million and wage of €132,000 are below Yamal’s snapshot figures, though the value remains substantial for many clubs.

Consider Diomande when you want a younger option at a lower listed value
At 19, Diomande has a 90 potential rating and a current overall of 84. FAFIFA’s listed value of €73 million is the lowest of the top three, and its listed wage of €48,000 is also the lowest. Those numbers make him comparatively less expensive within this shortlist, not a guaranteed bargain: affordability depends on your save’s finances and the eventual terms a club will accept.

- Decide how soon you need a starter. Compare overall rating with your current right winger and the rest of your starting XI. A higher potential number alone does not tell you whether a player immediately fills a gap.
- Set a realistic budget. Treat FAFIFA’s values and wages as dated database estimates, not guaranteed transfer fees or contract demands. FC 27’s rebuilt Transfer Market uses club buying power, player potential, ratings and form to influence player values, according to EA.
- Match attributes to your tactics. Check the player’s pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending and physicality against the role you need. The available shortlist data does not establish a comparative attribute advantage for these three, so make that assessment in the game rather than inferring it from potential.
- Account for development time. A younger prospect may suit a longer rebuild; an older player in the under-21 group may better fit a team seeking nearer-term contribution. Database potential is not a promise that a save will reach that rating.
- Recheck club and player data before negotiating. The ranking page says it refreshes roughly weekly, and club associations and values may become stale as databases change. Your save’s transfer context can also differ from the snapshot.
FC 27 launched worldwide on 25 September 2026 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, according to EA’s 23 July 2026 announcement. EA’s description of the rebuilt Transfer Market explains why a player’s value can depend on the managing club; it does not guarantee that a particular club can sign any of the players above.
