You do not need a PS5 to watch either series. Use the Crunchyroll or Netflix app on a compatible smart TV, add a supported streaming player such as a Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV or Chromecast, or watch through a computer, phone or tablet. The difficult part is not the console; it is confirming that your country has the exact One Piece episodes, Jujutsu Kaisen season or film, and audio or subtitle language you want.
Catalogs and device requirements change. Check the service’s listing for your country and the live device-support page before paying for a subscription.

Start with the device you already own
Buying a console is unnecessary if your television already runs the required apps. Crunchyroll and Netflix publish separate compatibility lists, so check the exact model and operating-system version rather than assuming that every “smart” TV is supported.

The versions above are the minimums stated in the cited device lists; a manufacturer may stop updating an older model even when its hardware technically meets a minimum. If an app cannot be found, update the TV or player, restart it, and check the country selected for the device account.

Watching directly on a smart TV
Samsung, LG, Android TV and Google TV
- Open the television’s app store and search for Crunchyroll and Netflix.
- Install only the official apps shown by the store. If one is absent, open the service’s current device-support page from a computer or phone and compare the listed operating-system minimum with your TV.
- Sign in, then search each service for One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. Open the title details rather than relying on a search-result thumbnail; the details page identifies available seasons, films, dubs and subtitles.
- Play a short section and open the audio/subtitle menu. A title can be available while your preferred language is not.
Smart-TV support does not guarantee catalog access. A television bought in one country and used in another can retain a different app-store region, and a service can remove or add a season without changing the TV software.
Apple TV
Crunchyroll lists Apple TV with tvOS 17 as the minimum. Netflix also supports Apple TV devices. Update tvOS through Settings > System > Software Updates, install both apps, and then check the title pages for your country. If the Apple TV is too old to reach tvOS 17, use a newer player, a computer, or a supported mobile device instead of trying to force an incompatible app.
Add a streaming player when the TV lacks an app
A separate player is the most practical fix for an older television with an HDMI input but no current Crunchyroll or Netflix app. The player supplies the apps; the TV only displays the HDMI signal. You need a free HDMI port, power for the player and a reliable internet connection.

How to set up a player
- Check the exact model number and operating-system requirement on the current Crunchyroll and Netflix support pages. Do this before ordering; “Fire TV” or “Roku” is a family name, not a guarantee for every old model.
- Connect the player to an HDMI input and its supplied power adapter. Select that HDMI input on the television.
- Join the player to your home Wi-Fi or wired network and install pending system updates.
- Install Crunchyroll and Netflix from the player’s official app store. Sign in with your existing account or start the service’s current plan directly through its official app or website.
- Search for both shows and confirm the season or film, language tracks and subtitles before settling in.
No particular Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV or Chromecast model is required by the information available here. Treat a product listing as a compatibility question, not an endorsement: confirm its operating-system version and app-store support for your country.
Use a computer, phone or tablet
Computer viewing
Crunchyroll lists Chrome 123 or newer, Firefox 123 or newer, Edge 123 or newer and Safari 17.1 or newer. Netflix can be watched through netflix.com on a computer. Update the browser, sign in, and use each service’s title page to select episodes and language options.
If playback fails, disable an outdated browser extension, check that the computer’s date and time are correct, and test another supported browser. Corporate, school or hotel networks can block video domains even when ordinary websites load.
Phone and tablet viewing
Crunchyroll lists Android 8 or newer and iOS 17 or newer. Netflix supports phones and tablets, subject to the app and operating-system requirements shown in the relevant app store. Install the official app, sign in, download episodes only when the service and plan permit it, and use the cast button when a compatible television or player is on the same network.
A phone is also useful for checking availability before you buy a player: change nothing on the account, search both titles, open the season selector, and inspect audio and subtitle menus. Seeing a show in a web search is not proof that it is playable in your country.
Check the catalog before subscribing
No single service can be stated to carry both series everywhere. Rights are regional and can differ by season, film, language and release date.

One Piece
The official English One Piece links hub names Crunchyroll and Netflix and also lists Hulu and Pluto TV as viewing options. Those names are a starting point, not a worldwide availability promise. Open the service for your own country and verify the exact episode range you want.
A Japanese One Piece streaming page carries current distribution information and warns that start dates and times can change. It also states that Netflix distribution there excludes the SPECIAL EDITED VERSION Fish-Man Island arc. That Japanese qualification should not be applied automatically to Netflix catalogs elsewhere.

An official announcement dated March 28, 2026 said the Elbaph arc would begin distribution from April 9, 2026 on 11 Japanese services: FOD, Prime Video, U-NEXT, d Anime Store, Anime Hodai, Lemino, DMM TV, ABEMA, Hulu, Netflix and Disney+. This is a Japanese-market release announcement, not evidence that every one of those services offers the arc in another territory.

The official full-episode page advertises 1,000 episodes and weekly Thursday additions, while warning that schedules can change. Treat that as the page’s stated schedule, not a guarantee for your local catalog.
Jujutsu Kaisen
The current official Jujutsu Kaisen on-demand listing describes seasons 1–3 and film titles and shows a range of Japanese subscription-video services, including Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video. That listing is Japanese-market-specific.
For the United States, Hulu’s Crunchyroll catalog specifically names Jujutsu Kaisen among its selected titles. The US result does not establish availability in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia or any other market, and it does not by itself specify every season or film.
Language and edition checks
- Confirm whether the listing is the television season, a recap or a film.
- Open the audio menu to distinguish Japanese audio, an English dub and other dubbed tracks.
- Check subtitle languages separately; subtitle availability can differ from dubbing.
- Look for regional or edited editions, especially when a service lists more than one version of an arc.
- Check the leaving-soon or expiration notice before starting a long series.

There is no verified universal “both shows” subscription. If both titles matter, compare the two local title pages first, then calculate the total price of the plans, rentals or purchases needed. Prices and plan terms were not established here and should be read from the services at the time you subscribe.
Five-minute pre-subscription checklist
- Set the market. Confirm the country attached to your service account, app store and payment profile.
- Identify the exact content. Write down the One Piece arc or episode range and the Jujutsu Kaisen season or film you want.
- Check both title pages. Do not rely on a service’s general anime collection or a search-engine result.
- Check language. Verify preferred audio and subtitle tracks on the episode or film page.
- Check the screen. Confirm your TV, player, browser or mobile operating system meets the current minimum.
- Check the connection. Ensure the device can reach the service and that your Wi-Fi signal is adequate where you watch.
- Calculate the complete cost. Include every subscription, rental or purchase required for the seasons and films you selected.
- Test playback. Start an episode, open the audio/subtitle controls and verify that the correct edition plays before committing to a long-term plan.
Troubleshooting common failures
The app is missing from the TV or player
- Compare the exact model and operating-system version with the service’s live device list.
- Install pending firmware updates and restart the device.
- Check the app-store country; availability can be restricted by region.
- If the hardware is below the minimum, use a supported player, computer or mobile device instead of an unofficial app.
The show appears but the season or film does not
- Open the title’s season selector and search for the film separately.
- Confirm your country; a Japanese listing or a US listing cannot be generalized to another market.
- Check whether the item is a different edition, such as the Fish-Man Island special edit noted on the Japanese One Piece page.
- Look for a release-date or expiration notice and recheck after the stated date.
The language option is missing
Language rights are title- and market-specific. Check the audio and subtitle menus on the exact episode or film. If the preferred track is absent, another service may have it, but verify that alternative’s local listing before subscribing.
Playback buffers or stops
- Restart the app and home router, then install device and app updates.
- Try the same account on a supported browser or mobile device to separate an account issue from a TV or player issue.
- On a computer, test another supported browser: Chrome 123+, Firefox 123+, Edge 123+ or Safari 17.1+ as listed by Crunchyroll.
- On a managed network, ask whether streaming domains are blocked; do not assume a console would solve a network restriction.
The practical answer
Use the hardware you already have if it supports the official Crunchyroll or Netflix app. If the television is the weak link, add a compatible streaming player; if you only need occasional viewing, a supported browser or mobile app is enough. Before spending money, check your country’s entries for both One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen, the exact seasons or films, and the audio and subtitle tracks. Those checks—not ownership of a PS5—determine whether your setup will deliver the episodes you want.
