Use Karat primarily for Servant summons, as the available beginner guide recommends. Treat Rubies separately: they are purchased through the game’s Special Shop and spent on in-game Perks offers. Before spending either currency, check the live game for current costs, guarantees, limits, and event rules; the available sources do not establish which banner or offer is best in October 2026.
First, distinguish Karat from Ruby
The available BlueStacks beginner guide identifies Karat as the premium currency used primarily for Servant summons. Com2uS Holdings’ Special Shop information describes a separate Ruby currency: purchased Rubies can be used to buy in-game offers in Perks. The sources do not establish that these balances are interchangeable, so check the currency shown on an offer before confirming a purchase.
This distinction matters when comparing advice online: a recommendation about Karat summons does not automatically apply to Ruby offers, and guidance for the original Heir of Light should not be assumed to apply to Heir of Light: Eclipse.
How to spend Karat
Keep it for Servant summons
The supported general recommendation is to save Karat for Servant summons. BlueStacks reports summon rates of 5.2% for Epic Servants, 45.6% for Rare Servants, and 49.2% for Normal Servants. These are figures from its guide, whose publication date is not established; they are not independently verified current rates. They also do not establish the chance of receiving a featured Servant, a summon’s Karat cost, or any guarantee or pity threshold.
Before summoning, read the active banner details in the game. Confirm the cost per summon, any featured-unit rate, the guarantee or pity conditions, and when the banner ends. Without those live details, there is no sound basis for ranking one current banner above another.
Do not count on an old new-player reward
The same BlueStacks guide describes a new-player reward of 4,500 Karats, equivalent in its description to ten free summons. That guide does not confirm that the reward is still available to new accounts. Check the rewards shown in your own account rather than budgeting around that figure.

How to evaluate Ruby offers
Com2uS Holdings says purchased Rubies can be used to buy in-game offers in Perks. The useful choice depends on the actual offer contents and your account’s needs, not simply on the size of a Ruby pack. Compare the live options before spending:

- Contents and account need: Identify the resources included and whether they address your current progression bottleneck.
- Limits and expiry: Read any purchase cap, eligibility rule, or offer end date shown in the client.
- Event qualification: Check the event terms if you are spending toward an event objective.
- VIP treatment: Distinguish purchasing a Ruby pack from using Ruby on a Perks offer; they do not have the same VIP EXP treatment.
Buying Rubies is different from spending them
The publisher says buying a Ruby pack in the Special Shop does not grant VIP EXP. VIP EXP comes from buying offers in-game with Rubies. It also says event participation is counted when Rubies are actually used in the game. In other words, buying a balance alone should not be treated as completing an event-spending objective or earning VIP EXP; check the relevant live offer and event terms before committing.

What current public information can—and cannot—tell you
The Google Play listing identifies Heir of Light: Eclipse as a free-to-play idle RPG and lists an update date of 14 May 2026. That confirms a recent app listing, but it does not provide October 2026 banner costs, pity rules, or a ranking of current Perks offers. The publisher’s Special Shop explains Ruby use, while its live catalog and regional prices may vary. For those details, the game client is the relevant place to check.
