For most players, save Diamonds for exclusive summons and use discounted summon wands there when they’re offered. If you’re new and your roster is too thin to progress, spending some Diamonds on normal summons can be a reasonable early exception. Before using any ticket, check which banner accepts it and read its in-game terms.
What should you spend Diamonds on?
Diamonds are the game’s premium currency. Pocket Gamer’s hero guide, updated September 3, 2026 for version 1.0.53, recommends saving them for exclusive summons and taking advantage of discounted summon wands for those summons when an offer appears. Its earlier free-to-play guide also recommends saving for exclusive summons once you have a workable lineup. These are practical recommendations, not a guarantee that a particular banner or purchase is optimal.
If you’re just starting
If your initial roster is too weak or limited to make progress, you can spend some Diamonds on normal summons to build a functional lineup. Pocket Gamer’s free-to-play guide describes this as an early-game option, not a reason to spend your entire Diamond balance. Once you have a lineup that can progress, prioritize saving for exclusive summons.

Check whether the offer explicitly applies to an exclusive summon and compare its cost with other uses for your Diamonds. The recommendation is to use discounted summon wands for exclusive summons when the game offers them; it does not establish that every wand offer is a good deal.
How to decide whether to use a summon ticket
“Summon ticket” can refer to items with different restrictions. The public guides discuss summoning keys and wands, but do not establish every item’s eligible banner, expiration date, or carry-over rule. Don’t assume a ticket works on every banner or remains available indefinitely.
- Open the item description and confirm what it can summon.
- Open the active banner and check which currencies or tickets it accepts.
- Look for a deadline or a stated rule about whether the ticket carries over.
- Before using it, confirm that the banner includes the hero or pool you want.
If the description or banner screen does not answer a question that matters to your decision, hold the ticket until you can verify the rule in-game.
Compare banners and shop offers before spending
Banner details and shop offers can change. The available public sources do not establish current numerical summon odds, pity thresholds, or a complete list of other Diamond uses, so check the live game rather than relying on a presumed rate or guarantee.

- Featured hero: Is the hero you want actually featured or obtainable on this banner?
- Eligible resource: Does the banner accept your Diamonds or the specific ticket you plan to use?
- Cost: What is the cost per summon, and is there a discount?
- Rates and guarantees: What rates or guarantee thresholds does the game display, and how close are you to any stated threshold?
- Other needs: Would the purchase leave you short of resources for progression?
Pocket Gamer also cautions that Gold and hero- or gear-leveling resources become important later. Consider those needs before spending on other shop items, and don’t infer a banner’s value from an unstated pity threshold or number of pulls.
Why saving summons can matter
Summoners Kingdom: Goddess is a fantasy card RPG centered on collecting heroes and using them in strategic battles. Its Google Play listing describes a collection of “over 100 unique and powerful heroes” and says kingdom upgrades can strengthen heroes. That is the developer’s storefront description, not an independently audited count. Building a useful roster and strengthening it are both part of progression, which is why spending every premium resource on the first available summon can leave you with fewer options later.

Google Play lists an update dated January 12, 2026, and Pocket Gamer’s hero guide is marked updated September 3, 2026 for version 1.0.53. The spending guidance comes from Pocket Gamer rather than a primary developer guide.
