Which providers have the clearest documented app details?
ExpressVPN: feature-rich app documentation and non-app alternatives
ExpressVPN’s guide describes downloading the app from the Apple TV App Store and signing in by QR code, email, or a restored App Store purchase. For an Apple TV that cannot update to tvOS 17, ExpressVPN lists MediaStreamer and a router running ExpressVPN as alternatives. Protocol availability can matter to users who want connection options, but the report does not establish comparative speed, stability, or streaming access. The cited material also does not establish the app’s minimum tvOS version, so verify it with IPVanish.
