For a very low position with a light camera or compatible phone setup, Manfrotto’s PIXI Mini is a compact tabletop stand, not a full-height replacement. Compare your complete camera-and-lens setup, working height, and carry limits before choosing.
How to choose a tripod for your camera and how you shoot
Start with the camera and lens you will mount together, not the camera body alone. Then check the tripod’s manufacturer-rated payload, height range, folded size, and weight against the actual shooting location. Those figures make it a relevant option for photographers balancing carryability with a full-height stand. The manufacturer gives a maximum height of 1.84 m in its specification table; promotional copy on the same page states 1.86 m, so check which figure applies to the listing or revision you are considering. The manufacturer lists different load capabilities at different leg angles. The widest angles can be useful for lower setups, but they come with reduced stated capacity:

Use the rating for the angle at which you intend to shoot, and compare it with the combined weight of your camera, lens, head, and other mounted accessories. Even when the setup is within the listed capability, the rating alone does not establish how well it will resist vibration in wind or with a long lens.
Tabletop conversion requires optional footwear
The Brian 2.0’s legs detach, and optional Vanz feet can convert them into a tabletop arrangement. The manufacturer describes the Vanz footwear as optional; do not assume it is included in the standard kit. Verify the contents of the specific package before buying.

Best compact low stand: Manfrotto PIXI Mini
Choose the PIXI Mini when you want a small stand for a modest payload and a low shooting position. Manfrotto lists it at 0.17 kg, with an 18.5 cm closed length, 13.5 cm maximum height, and a 1 kg safety payload. Check the mounted setup against the 1 kg safety payload and confirm that the stand’s low height suits the framing you want. Its compactness solves a different problem from a travel tripod that extends to standing height.

Another tabletop choice: Manfrotto 209,492LONG-1
Manfrotto describes the 209,492LONG-1 as a table-top tripod kit with a 492 ball head. Its listed safety payload is 5 kg under UNI/PdR 105:2021. [Manfrotto’s tabletop kit listing]
The 5 kg figure is not, by itself, proof that this kit is more stable than another tabletop stand or suitable for every setup. Compare the complete kit, mounting arrangement, working height, and intended use, and check the payload specification for the product you are buying. The available listing does not establish a directly comparable stability test against the PIXI Mini.
