For an India budget of ₹50,000–₹60,000, the clearest options in the latest dated price snapshot are the Galaxy S25 FE (128GB) at ₹54,999, the Galaxy A57 5G (8GB/256GB) at ₹56,999, and the Galaxy S24 Plus (12GB/256GB) at ₹59,999. These are Smartprix listings last updated on October 4, 2026—not guaranteed checkout prices or confirmation of new India-warranty stock. Check the exact variant, seller, condition, warranty, and final price before ordering.
Which Samsung phone should you choose in this price range?
Start with the Galaxy S25 FE if you want a newer FE-series option and a listing comfortably inside the budget. Consider the Galaxy A57 5G if its larger display and 5,000mAh battery suit your priorities. The Galaxy S24 Plus is the closest listed fit to the ₹60,000 ceiling, but verify that the specific unit is new, locally warranted stock.
The figures below come from Smartprix’s price and specification snapshot, updated October 4, 2026. Treat them as leads for comparison, not confirmed live prices; specifications are aggregator-reported, not independent test results.
| Model and listed configuration | Snapshot price | Listed details | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy S25 FE, 128GB | ₹54,999 | Exynos 2400, 8GB RAM, 4,900mAh battery, 45W charging | Confirm seller, exact variant, current price, and India warranty. |
| Galaxy A57 5G, 8GB/256GB | ₹56,999 | Exynos 1680, 5,000mAh battery, 45W charging, 6.7-inch 120Hz display, Android 16 | Compare size and features with the S25 FE, and verify the listing details. |
| Galaxy S24 Plus, 12GB/256GB | ₹59,999 | Exynos 2400, 6.7-inch 120Hz display, 4,900mAh battery, 45W wired charging | Check stock condition, seller, and India warranty before purchase. |
How the in-budget options differ
Galaxy S25 FE: the straightforward fit
The listed 128GB S25 FE leaves more room below the budget ceiling than the S24 Plus and has 8GB RAM, an Exynos 2400, a 4,900mAh battery, and 45W charging according to Smartprix. It is the most direct starting point if you want an FE-series phone and do not need to spend up to ₹60,000. The cited listing does not establish hands-on performance, camera quality, or software-support duration, so compare those against the exact product variant and Samsung’s current specifications before deciding.

Galaxy A57 5G: larger screen and battery
The snapshot lists the A57 5G with a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, 5,000mAh battery, and 45W charging. It is a sensible alternative if those listed characteristics and its A-series positioning appeal to you. The cited price/spec listing alone does not establish how its camera, performance, or update support compare in everyday use with the S25 FE.
Galaxy S24 Plus: near the top of the range
At ₹59,999 in the snapshot, the S24 Plus uses nearly the full budget. Its listed 6.7-inch 120Hz screen, 12GB RAM, 4,900mAh battery, and 45W wired charging may make it worth checking, but its price listing does not prove the unit is current new stock. Confirm condition, exact model code, seller, and warranty rather than assuming an older-model listing is equivalent to a new India-market phone.

Should you consider the Galaxy S24?
Smartprix lists separately named Snapdragon Galaxy S24 256GB entries at ₹49,999 and ₹55,999. Both are below or near the lower edge of this budget, and the listed specifications include 8GB RAM, a 4,000mAh battery, 25W charging, and a 6.2-inch 120Hz display. Because the entries differ in price and may represent distinct listings or configurations, check the exact model code, chipset, seller, condition, and warranty before comparing them with the other phones.
Are the Galaxy S26 and S26 FE within budget?
Not at their announced India prices. Samsung Newsroom India announced ₹79,999 for the Galaxy S26 FE (8GB/256GB) on September 14, 2026, while Samsung’s Galaxy S26 launch price for the 12GB/256GB model is ₹87,999. Those manufacturer figures are above this article’s price band; they are announced prices, not a guarantee of today’s checkout total.

What to verify before paying
- Check the final price: Compare the live checkout total with the cited snapshot price. Keep exchange value, bank discounts, and limited-time promotions separate; eligibility and availability can vary.
- Match the exact variant: Confirm model code, storage, RAM, and chipset. A model name alone may not identify the same regional configuration.
- Confirm stock and warranty: Ask whether the phone is new and sealed, and whether it carries an India warranty. A comparison-site listing does not establish either fact.
- Review seller and returns: Check who fulfills the order, return terms, and the route for service or warranty claims.
- Check package contents: Confirm whether a charging adapter is included and whether the adapter supports the chosen handset’s charging specification.
Samsung notes that prices, promotional benefits, exchange discounts, and availability can vary. Its catalogue also cautions that prices and availability may change by location. Verify the product page and offer terms at purchase rather than treating a launch price or dated listing as a current quote.
