Which protector should you choose?
Choose Samsung’s film to reduce reflections
Samsung says its Anti-Reflecting Film reduces glare and unwanted reflections while maintaining smooth touch response and fingerprint recognition. Samsung specifies the EF-US948CTEG for the Galaxy S26 Ultra only. The Canadian product page lists two films, dust-removal stickers, a microfiber cleaner, a squeegee, an applicator, and a guide. These are manufacturer statements, not independent performance findings.

What to check before buying
- Exact phone fit: Samsung’s film is specified for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Do not assume a protector for another Galaxy S26 model fits; verify the exact model on third-party listings.
- Material and finish: Tempered glass is rigid, while film is flexible. Matte and anti-reflective finishes address reflections differently from clear protectors, and the sources do not provide directly comparable performance tests.
- Fingerprint and touch response: Samsung says its film maintains both. The cited guide does not establish equivalent results for every third-party protector, so check the product listing and instructions for the particular model.
- Installation method: Compare included trays, applicators, cleaning kits, and instructions if alignment is a concern.
- Case compatibility: Samsung names compatible S26 Ultra cases for its film. For other products, confirm case fit with the manufacturer or seller rather than assuming universal compatibility.
- Package and warranty details: Counts, included accessories, prices, stock, and warranty terms may change by listing or region.
Why the S26 Ultra display matters when choosing
Samsung describes the Galaxy S26 Ultra as having a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate; its measurement is 6.7 inches when rounded corners are accounted for. The phone’s integrated Privacy Display is a built-in feature, not the same thing as an aftermarket privacy-film filter. Corning identifies Gorilla Armor 2 as the front-display cover material, but a material specification does not mean the screen cannot scratch or crack.
