For gaming-focused buyers, the realme GT 7 is the clearest candidate supported by current official specifications: it pairs a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e with LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.0 storage, a large vapor chamber and a 7,000 mAh battery. The realme GT 7 Pro is another option, but its official gaming claim does not identify the game. Neither phone has a comparable independent long-session gaming test established here, so advertised frame rates should not be treated as a guarantee for your games.
Which realme phones are worth considering for gaming?
“Gaming phone” is a use case, not a separate product category. Among the models covered by official specifications, the GT 7 has the more clearly documented processor and memory configuration. The GT 7 Pro has a larger stated cooling area, but the available product-page information does not provide a like-for-like performance comparison.
| Model | Gaming-relevant specifications and claims | What the evidence does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| realme GT 7 (India) | MediaTek Dimensity 9400e; LPDDR5X memory; UFS 4.0 storage; 7,700 mm² vapor chamber; 7,000 mAh battery; 120 W charging; 8T LTPO display with 2,600 Hz touch control. Realme advertises 120 fps for a massive online FPS game and says its cooling system reduces whole-device gaming temperature by 6°C versus the GT 6. realme India product page | The retrieved product information does not give independent test methods or enough detail to extend the frame-rate claim to all games or configurations. |
| realme GT 7 Pro (India) | 11,480 mm² Iceberg Dual VC cooling system; 5,800 mAh battery. Realme advertises “《Popular Battle Royale Mobile Game》 Smooth Graphics | 120fps Frame Rate.” realme India product page | The game is not named in the retrieved page text, and the claim is not an independent test or a promise of 120 fps in other games. |
These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not results from a controlled head-to-head test. The GT 7’s documented processor and memory make it the more straightforward recommendation to investigate first; the available information is not enough to declare it objectively faster than the GT 7 Pro.

Performance over a full session
A 120 fps marketing claim does not tell you whether a phone sustains that rate after it warms up, or at which graphics settings and in which software version it was measured. No independent, comparable long-session gaming test for these two models is established here. Look for testing that identifies the game, graphics preset, room temperature, software version, session length and frame-rate behavior over time before treating one model as a proven sustained-performance winner.

Cooling and touch response
The GT 7’s stated 7,700 mm² vapor chamber and 2,600 Hz touch-control figure are relevant design details, while the GT 7 Pro lists an 11,480 mm² dual vapor-chamber cooling system. Cooling area alone does not prove lower temperatures or better sustained performance across different phone designs; the available specifications do not supply a comparable independent thermal test. Touch-response claims likewise do not establish an advantage in every game.
Battery and charging
Realme lists a 7,000 mAh battery and 120 W charging for the GT 7, and a 5,800 mAh battery for the GT 7 Pro. These capacity figures do not predict gaming runtime by themselves: screen brightness, network connection, game load and settings all affect power use. The GT 7 Pro’s charging rate is not stated in the retrieved information, so there is no supported charging-speed comparison.

How to choose between the GT 7 and GT 7 Pro
- Start with the GT 7 if you want the more fully specified gaming candidate in this comparison, including named chipset, memory and storage types, battery capacity and charging rate.
- Consider the GT 7 Pro if its configuration, price and availability in your country suit you, but do not infer a specific game or universal 120 fps support from the unnamed battle-royale claim.
- Check the exact regional variant and the games you play before buying. The cited specifications are from realme India pages; they do not establish that every market sells identical configurations.
- Seek independent sustained-play testing for your priority games if heat or stable frame rates matter more than headline specifications.
Availability, prices and optional cooling accessories
India-focused catalog pages dated for October 2026 list several P-series models, including P3, P4x, P3x, P4 and P1, and a GT-series listing includes the GT 7, GT 7T and GT 6. These listings can help identify models, but do not prove live stock, a complete official lineup or the price in another country. Check the current realme listing or a local retailer for your region and exact variant before purchasing. 91mobiles India category listing · 91mobiles GT-series listing
