There is no single best real estate crowdfunding platform for every everyday investor. CNBC Select’s October 2026 comparison characterizes Fundrise as a low-minimum option, RealtyMogul as an option for asset diversity, and Arrived Homes as a choice for residential rental investing. Those labels are useful starting points—not verified rankings or guarantees. Compare the terms of the specific investment you are considering, especially its minimum, eligibility rules, fees, structure and liquidity.
Platforms at a glance
The descriptions below come from CNBC Select’s comparison, as surfaced in its October 2026 search result. They are secondary-source characterizations, not independent evaluations of performance. The available information does not establish current terms for each platform’s live offerings.
| Platform | Comparison category | What to verify before investing |
|---|---|---|
| Fundrise | CNBC Select identifies it as a low-minimum option; the comparison excerpt mentions a $10 threshold. | Whether that threshold is current and applies to the particular product or offering you can access. Do not assume it is a universal minimum. |
| RealtyMogul | CNBC Select identifies it for asset diversity. | Which products are currently open, who is eligible, and each product’s minimum, fees and redemption limits. |
| Arrived Homes | CNBC Select identifies it for residential rental investment. | The terms for the specific property investment, including charges, expected holding period and liquidity. |
A separate Benzinga comparison uses investor eligibility, minimum investment, primary asset type, fee range and liquidity to distinguish platforms, and gives examples of varying thresholds and liquidity arrangements. Those comparison dimensions are useful, but its overview does not establish current terms for a particular offering.

Check access and eligibility first
Confirm the minimum subscription for the actual investment—not just a platform-wide headline—and whether you qualify. Accreditation or other eligibility restrictions can differ between offerings on the same platform. Read the current subscription documents before treating an advertised entry point as available to you.

Know what you are buying
A pooled fund or REIT can provide exposure to a group of properties, while a property-specific investment is tied to an individual property. The structure affects what assets your investment is exposed to; a platform’s category label alone does not establish how diversified a particular investment is. Check the offering materials for its holdings or property, investment structure and stated strategy.
Compare fees and the time you may be invested
Review investor-facing charges as well as any offering- or property-level costs disclosed in the documents. Also look for the stated term, redemption rights and transfer restrictions. Private real estate investments can be illiquid, and the exact rules depend on the investment. The comparison material available here does not establish current platform-by-platform fee figures or redemption terms, so use the live documents rather than assuming one platform’s rules apply to all of its products.
Rank #2
Assess risk without treating projections as promises
Private real estate investments can lose value. Projected or historical returns are not guarantees, and a low minimum does not establish that an investment is suitable, diversified, liquid or likely to earn a particular return. Consider the investment’s risks and time horizon against your own circumstances; do not rely on a platform label or a past-results figure as a substitute for reviewing the offering.
