If Order of the Sinking Star has you looking for another game built around careful spatial reasoning, start with Stephen’s Sausage Roll. For a more unusual twist on box-pushing, choose Patrick’s Parabox. Both are adjacent puzzle experiences, but neither is established as matching Order of the Sinking Star’s interconnected worlds, narrative, or overall scope.
What kind of puzzle game are you looking for?
Order of the Sinking Star is presented as a narrative adventure spanning four worlds, with mechanics, characters, and stories that intersect. Its official site describes more than 1,000 interconnected, hand-crafted puzzles, unique playable heroes, evolving mechanics, and a mystery. Those are product-description claims, not independently audited counts. See the official game site and Steam listing.
The two recommendations below focus on spatial puzzle-solving, but they offer different kinds of challenge:

Stephen’s Sausage Roll: for exacting spatial planning
Steam describes Stephen’s Sausage Roll as “A simple 3d puzzle game.” Its listing tags it as a single-player 3D puzzle game and includes both Sokoban and Difficult. That combination makes it the closer pick here if what you want next is careful movement and object placement rather than a broader narrative adventure.
The game was released on April 18, 2016, according to its Steam listing. The listing’s description is brief, so it does not establish a puzzle count or provide grounds for a detailed comparison of difficulty or playtime. This recommendation is based on the official description and tags, not hands-on comparative testing.

Patrick’s Parabox: for recursive box-pushing

The Steam listing, which gives the release date as March 29, 2022, describes the game as having more than 350 hand-crafted puzzles. This recommendation is also based on the official description, not a hands-on comparison.
