How to choose a pet camera for your cat
- Room coverage: A fixed camera can leave blind spots. Pan-and-tilt or rotating cameras can cover more of a room, while tracking may follow movement within the camera’s view.
- Night viewing and communication: Check whether the model lists night vision and two-way audio. Cat-specific sounds or meowing alerts are separate features, not guarantees that a cat will respond.
- Interaction: Treat dispensers and toys can add activity, but they do not replace feeding, supervision, or direct care.
- Recording and alerts: Distinguish live viewing from saved video. Motion alerts, video history, and other features may depend on a recurring plan; check the current terms.

The company lists video history and additional AI features under its Furbo Nanny subscription, so check the current plan terms before relying on those features. Eufy Indoor Security Cam E220: general indoor monitoring
This is an indoor security camera rather than a cat-specific interactive device. Cats.com lists motion tracking and SD-card compatibility, making it a candidate for owners who want room monitoring and are interested in local recording. Confirm the current model revision and the manufacturer’s card requirements before buying a card or assuming that recordings can be stored locally. SD-card support for this model should not be generalized to other cameras.
