For a phone below ₹10,000 in India, the Moto G35 5G is the most feature-rich option in this October 2026 shortlist, with a Full HD+ 120Hz display, 128GB storage and 5G at a listed ₹9,999. Its limited stated OS-update commitment and screen brightness caveat matter. If you want to spend less, consider the Redmi A4 5G for basic use or the Infinix Smart 8 HD for simple 4G tasks. These are dated comparison-site prices, not guaranteed checkout offers; confirm the exact variant and final price before buying.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Moto G35 5G for the strongest display-and-storage combination
At ₹9,999 listed, the Moto G35 5G pairs a 6.72-inch Full HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 128GB storage and a Unisoc T760 processor. It has 4GB RAM, a 5,000mAh battery, 50MP and 8MP rear cameras, and a 16MP selfie camera. The review notes that its screen can be dim outdoors. Motorola’s stated OS-update commitment is one major update, from Android 14 to Android 15; that is a limited promise if long-term software support is important to you. It is a near-ceiling choice for someone who values a sharper, smoother screen and 5G, not an unqualified best choice for every buyer. Gadgets 360’s Moto G35 5G listing and review.

Choose the Redmi A4 5G to spend less on basic 5G use
The Redmi A4 5G was listed at ₹7,965 with 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor and a 5,160mAh battery. Its 6.88-inch screen is 720p, so it is not as sharp as the Moto’s Full HD+ display. The review says it handles ordinary apps but struggles with heavy 3D games; it also flags outdoor brightness, low-light photos, multitasking and software clutter. It makes more sense for routine use than for demanding games, frequent low-light photography or heavy app switching. Gadgets 360’s Redmi A4 5G listing and review.
Consider the Redmi 13C 5G for everyday performance and battery life
The cited Redmi 13C 5G configuration has a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, a 6.74-inch 720p display and a 5,000mAh battery. Gadgets 360 lists it at ₹8,499 and describes everyday performance and battery longevity as strengths, but criticises the camera and slow charging. The 8GB RAM figure may look compelling on paper, but it does not make this a camera-first recommendation; megapixel counts alone cannot establish photo quality. Gadgets 360’s Redmi 13C 5G listing and review.
Consider the POCO C65 if you want 128GB storage on a 4G phone
The listed configuration includes a 6.74-inch 720p screen, Helio G85, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 5,000mAh battery. Gadgets 360 listed it at ₹8,999, while MySmartPrice listed ₹8,499 on its October snapshot. The available review detail does not establish that it is the best performer in this group, so choose it based on the exact price and variant rather than assuming a performance advantage. At ₹6,380 listed, the Infinix Smart 8 HD has a Unisoc T606 processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage, a 6.60-inch 720p screen and a 5,000mAh battery. The review positions it for calls, texts, browsing, video and light gaming, while flagging slow charging, weak low-light photos and poor outdoor screen visibility. Its lower price comes with modest memory and storage, so it is a better fit for straightforward tasks than heavy multitasking. Gadgets 360’s Infinix Smart 8 HD listing and review.

Be cautious about the Tecno Spark Go 3 at this price

Gadgets 360 says it makes compromises and is less easy to recommend at this price than budget phones had been the previous year. Start with the price and exact variant
Confirm that the listing is for the RAM and storage combination you intend to buy. Comparison pages can show different prices for the same model, and a model name alone does not guarantee the same configuration. Before paying, check the seller, stock, warranty and checkout total, including any conditions attached to an offer.

Decide whether 5G is worth prioritising
The Moto G35 5G, Redmi A4 5G and Redmi 13C 5G are 5G models in this shortlist. The Infinix Smart 8 HD is described as a basic 4G phone; the cited entries for the POCO C65 and Tecno Spark Go 3 do not establish 5G support. If you need 5G, verify the exact model and variant on the seller’s listing rather than inferring support from price or brand.

Only the Moto G35 5G in this list is specified with a Full HD+ 120Hz display. The other cited screens are 720p. Higher resolution can make text and images look sharper, while 120Hz allows more frequent screen updates; neither spec removes the Moto’s reported outdoor-brightness caveat. If you often use your phone in bright sunlight, treat outdoor visibility as a separate consideration.

Set realistic expectations for memory, gaming and cameras
RAM and storage vary substantially: the cited configurations range from 3GB/64GB on the Infinix Smart 8 HD to 8GB/128GB on the Redmi 13C 5G. More RAM or a larger camera megapixel number is not, by itself, proof of better real-world results. The available reviews identify gaming limitations on the Redmi A4 5G and camera shortcomings on the Redmi A4 5G, Redmi 13C 5G and Infinix Smart 8 HD. If demanding games or dependable low-light photography are central to your purchase, these trade-offs deserve particular weight.
Check charging and software support, not just battery capacity
Battery capacities in the cited configurations range from 5,000mAh to 5,160mAh, but capacity alone does not tell you how quickly a phone charges. The reviews specifically flag slow charging on the Redmi 13C 5G and Infinix Smart 8 HD. The Moto G35 5G’s stated single major OS update is also relevant if you plan to keep the phone for years. The cited material does not establish comparable update commitments for the other models, so check the manufacturer’s current support information for the exact phone.
Quick Recap
What to verify before checkout
- Confirm the exact phone and variant: match the model name, RAM and storage to the comparison you used.
- Check the live total: compare the seller’s checkout price with the dated listed price; do not assume a comparison-site figure is a guaranteed sale price.
- Review seller and warranty details: verify who is selling the handset, whether it is in stock, and what warranty applies.
- Confirm the features you rely on: check 4G or 5G support, display specifications and software information on the listing or manufacturer’s current product details.
